Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Abelardo Monico took the kick off in the first half of the match. Teo Bernaldo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Daniel Zorita in the 3rd minute of play. After a rather tough play, StarwarsNoAbandona9-12-18's Augusto Vachon got a free kick in the 6th minute. In the 10th minute, Daniel Zorita left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Ecuador fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. After 15th play minutes Daniel Zorita shot 0-2, a short shot which went by Teo Bernaldo and just under the crossbar into goal. Primitivo Ezkerra's late challenge caught a Ecuador's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Primitivo Ezkerra helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, StarwarsNoAbandona9-12-18's Primitivo Ezkerra got a free kick in the 23rd minute. When StarwarsNoAbandona9-12-18's Abelardo Monico in the 26th minute got a chance for a shot 26th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Ecuador's goalie prevented a goal. When the match had gone on for 26 minutes, Abelardo Monico put it in 1-2 from a short distance just to the right of Julio Vera. Luis Andino struck a weak shot in the 30th minute. Teo Bernaldo didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Ecuador. Teo Bernaldo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cristian Sancho in the 33rd minute of play. Daniel Zorita might have been able to make a better finish in the 35th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Teo Bernaldo. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Daniel Zorita ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 37th minute, StarwarsNoAbandona9-12-18's Fulgencio Bingen seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Fulgencio Bingen the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of StarwarsNoAbandona9-12-18 protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Fulgencio Bingen had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. After 36 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for StarwarsNoAbandona9-12-18! In the 39th minute there was a penalty for Ecuador. Daniel Zorita stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Teo Bernaldo. 1-3. Angel Paulin's late challenge caught a Ecuador's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Angel Paulin helped the player get up and apologised. In a very dangerous position, a player in StarwarsNoAbandona9-12-18 fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 42nd minute. Penalty! Teo Bernaldo had in the 44thth minute some difficulties stopping Daniel Zorita's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. Teo Bernaldo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Daniel Zorita, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Daniel Zorita scored 1-4 in the 45th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Teo Bernaldo, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 1-4.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Daniel Zorita made a kick off. After 50 minutes, Pascual Corderro mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the StarwarsNoAbandona9-12-18 and the Ecuador players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 50 played minutes StarwarsNoAbandona9-12-18 got a freekick which was hit by Pascual Corderro. Cristian Sancho received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 54th minute. Teo Bernaldo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The audience thought a goal was coming when Daniel Zorita got free with Teo Bernaldo in the 56th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Daniel Zorita could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 57th minute of the match, but Teo Bernaldo made a huge save. Cristian Sancho recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 63rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Julio Vera didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Abelardo Monico went, in the 67th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-4 was the resulting score. After a rather tough play, StarwarsNoAbandona9-12-18's Eliseo Mantzio got a free kick in the 69th minute. In the 70th minute, Agustín Saelices got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After a rather tough play, Ecuador's Agustín Saelices got a free kick in the 73rd minute. After a rather tough play, Ecuador's Antonio Arias got a free kick in the 75th minute. When Angel Paulin came up free with the goalie in the 76th minute, the StarwarsNoAbandona9-12-18 fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Angel Paulin couldn't finish the play. In the 78th minute, Abelardo Monico hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Teo Bernaldo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Luis Andino in the 82nd minute of the match. Julio Vera made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Abelardo Monico in the 85th minute of play. Ecuador's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
