The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Peru's defense didn't have a chance, in the 4th minute, when Thorvald Egfjord scored to the left of an out of position Rolando Noboa, making the score, 1-0. Pablo Roso hit a great freekick 6 minutes into the match. Inge Marin took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Julian Murillo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Inge Marin showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Julian Murillo in the 15th minute of the match. Rolando Noboa showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from David Rios in the 16th minute of the match. In the 17th minute, Marco Chuse hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Peru's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Thorvald Egfjord 23 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 2-0. In the 25th match minute, Brujas KV was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Marco Chuse to maneuver through the defense. Rolando Noboa showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from David Rios in the 28th minute of the match. In the 34th minute, Thorvald Egfjord made a precise shot to the right of Rolando Noboa. Peru's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 3-0. The Peru fans' excitement grew in the 39th match minute when Peru's Julian Murillo looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 3-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. In the 47th minute Julian Murillo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Inge Marin saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 3-1 at half-time.

Brujas KV's Niyazi Sertel was substituted for Cristian Seber. Yu Liang Wei got a throw-in 52 minutes in the game and the ball was received by Zygmunt Wielkopolski. In the 55th minute of the game Yu Liang Wei made a throw-in which Zygmunt Wielkopolski played forward. In the 60th minute the ball was on its way in behind Brujas KV's goalkeeper Inge Marin, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 62 minutes into the match, Peru's goal looked a bit too open when Óli Manfredi came free, but Rolando Noboa reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 67 minutes into the match, Peru's Julian Murillo sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Inge Marin narrowly saved just below the crossbar. 76 minutes into the match, Óli Manfredi notched a goal, 4-1, to the right of Peru's Rolando Noboa. Rolando Noboa was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Brujas KV's Octavio Rosio was substituted for David Rios. 85 minutes in the game, Julian Murillo fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Inge Marin having to interfere. In the 85thth minute of the game Julian Murillo who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Brujas KV's Inge Marin was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Peru's Eliseo Mina got a good chance for a goal in the 88th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Peru made a substitution. Eliseo Alcocer replaced Moises Gayoso. Peru's Rafael Gallo was substituted for Julian Murillo. In the 92nd minute Rafael Gallo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Inge Marin saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 92 minutes into the match, Brujas KV's goal looked a bit too open when Rafael Gallo came free, but Inge Marin reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Through an outstanding action, after 95 minutes, Inge Marin successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. In the 96th minute of the match Peru got a corner. Brujas KV's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Eliseo Mina ran over to the corner to take the kick. Eliseo Mina made a great header on Peru's corner, it was just that Brujas KV's Inge Marin managed to reach the ball for a save. In the 98th minute Thorvald Egfjord shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rolando Noboa saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Brujas KV were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Peru for a fine match.
