Luz Tejedor was slow to take the kick. During this time Peru's players had a chance to rest. After 15 minutes Monterrey ante el Mundo⛥'s defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Luz Tejedor who took care of the corner kick. In the 17th minute, Pompiliu Isăcescu ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Rolando Noboa was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-0. The audience thought a goal was coming when Milagros Fraga got free with Nicasio Abad in the 71st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Pietro Salles sent away a hard shot on goal in the 77th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Pietro Salles's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Rolando Noboa read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 91st minute of play. In the 92nd minute the ball was on its way in behind Monterrey ante el Mundo⛥'s goalkeeper Nicasio Abad, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Rolando Noboa showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Pietro Salles, who was totally free with the ball in the 94th minute. Alonso Berganza kicked well hit freekick during the 95th minute of the match. Joel Enekoitz ran over to the corner to take the kick. A nice corner shot did that Joel Enekoitz got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Rolando Noboa quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Monterrey ante el Mundo⛥'s supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
