An unexpectedly hard shot by Mariano Lacasa in the 24th minute of play forced All Boys's goalkeeper Luizinho de Queirós to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Thiago Pliego made a fantastic save in the 41st minute, when Pablo Solchaga sent off a good shot on target. In the 43rd minute the ball was on its way in behind All Boys's goalkeeper Luizinho de Queirós, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Domenico Tellini could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 46th minute of the match, but Thiago Pliego made a huge save. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 1-1 after a close first half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Pablo Solchaga was the one to do the kick off. In the 52nd minute, Domenico Tellini hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Carlos Casteglione kicked well hit freekick during the 53rd minute of the match. Chile's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
