The Bolivia fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Camilo Freixa should have stopped the shot. Bolivia's Camilo Freixa played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ole-Gunnar Klose in the 33rd minute of play. In the 34th match minute, Bolivia was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Julio Chicote to maneuver through the defense. In the 36th minute Darkness were awarded a corner. Rodolfo Hori went to the cornerflag to take it. A hard shot 37 in the game by Benigno Canor from a close distance when the talented Camilo Freixa managed to make a qualified save. Bolivia's players were relieved. In the 43rd minute, Benigno Canor made a precise shot to the right of Camilo Freixa. Bolivia's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 3-0. A collision led to Bolivia getting a freekick after 46 minutes play. Alejandro Villa hit a great ball.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Mario Fernandino to make the kick off. Camilo Freixa showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ole-Gunnar Klose in the 54th minute of the match. 54 minutes into the game, Benigno Canor cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 4-0. Camilo Freixa was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 57th match minute, Bolivia was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Julio Chicote to maneuver through the defense. Camilo Freixa showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Benigno Canor in the 61st minute of the match. 62 minutes into the match, Bolivia's goal looked a bit too open when Benigno Canor came free, but Camilo Freixa reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in Bolivia's zone, Benigno Canor stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Camilo Freixa came out of the goal and Benigno Canor tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Ole-Gunnar Klose fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 70th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Camilo Freixa having to interfere. Camilo Freixa showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ole-Gunnar Klose, who was totally free with the ball in the 78th minute. Julio Chicote kicked well hit freekick during the 80th minute of the match. After having played for 84 minutes, Ole-Gunnar Klose managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Darkness's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ole-Gunnar Klose was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Bolivia's Eduardo Fontirroig got a good chance for a goal in the 86th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Benigno Canor sent away a hard shot on goal in the 88th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Darkness had played much better football throughout.
