The referee ignored Bolivia's protests and gave Alfonso de la Cruz a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Barbieri de Ituzaingó FC booed when Bolivia was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 11 match minutes in a wonderful position. Alfonso de la Cruz didn't get a good kick on the ball. Camilo Freixa was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Mauro Montes showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-0 in the 14 minute of play. Mauricio Javiar hit a great freekick 16 minutes into the match. Julio Chicote hit a great freekick 22 minutes into the match. Evelio Orlin kicked well hit freekick during the 24th minute of the match. Bolivia's Mario Fernandino couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 25th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Barbieri de Ituzaingó FC. Patricio Asur hit a great freekick 26 minutes into the match. Herminio Maiorga took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Eduardo Fontirroig, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Herminio Maiorga showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Mario Fernandino, who was totally free with the ball in the 33rd minute. After 34 minutes, Francisco Gallo mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Bolivia and the Barbieri de Ituzaingó FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of Barbieri de Ituzaingó FC booed when Bolivia was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 34 match minutes in a wonderful position. Francisco Gallo didn't get a good kick on the ball. Herminio Maiorga showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Eduardo Fontirroig in the 37th minute of the match. A collision led to Bolivia getting a freekick after 40 minutes play. Julio Chicote hit a great ball. Alfredo Ferrant recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 45th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The supporters of Bolivia booed when Barbieri de Ituzaingó FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 47 match minutes in a wonderful position. Mauricio Javiar didn't get a good kick on the ball.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Mario Fernandino stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. With a little luck, Barbieri de Ituzaingó FC's Herminio Maiorga got control of the ball when Alfonso de la Cruz tried to sneak it across the goal line. Mauro Montes received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 63rd minute. Camilo Freixa tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Eduardo Fontirroig sent away a hard shot on goal in the 69th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Eduardo Fontirroig struck a weak shot in the 71st minute. Herminio Maiorga didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Bolivia. If Eduardo Fontirroig had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 76th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Barbieri de Ituzaingó FC's Herminio Maiorga played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Eduardo Fontirroig in the 78th minute of play. After a rather tough play, Bolivia's Alfonso de la Cruz got a free kick in the 89th minute. Arturo Roldanillo kicked well hit freekick during the 91st minute of the match. Patricio Asur might have been able to make a better finish in the 93rd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Camilo Freixa. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Patricio Asur ran back to his position shaking his head. After having played for 95 minutes, Alfredo Ferrant managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Bolivia's supporters crossed their fingers, but Alfredo Ferrant was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Eduardo Fontirroig hit a great freekick 98 minutes into the match. Barbieri de Ituzaingó FC walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
