Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) Axel Tasis started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. In the 4th match minute, Costa Rica was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Axel Tasis to maneuver through the defense. When Aaron Alcocer fell near the penalty area in the 5th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Costa Rica's protests and gave Aaron Alcocer a yellow card for diving instead. In the 5th match minute, Costa Rica was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Aaron Alcocer to maneuver through the defense. After 6 played minutes, Espinillo's Ezequiel Onbera shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Benito Sanz came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Espinillo reached it. In the 7th minute, Abel Carballo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Benito Sanz was a little too slow when Placido Patxi got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 9th minute. The score was now 1-0. After some careless play in the Costa Rica defense, Ezequiel Onbera kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Benito Sanz. The Costa Rica fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Benito Sanz should have stopped the shot. Costa Rica's defense didn't have a chance, in the 14th minute, when Ezequiel Onbera scored to the left of an out of position Benito Sanz, making the score, 3-0. Benito Sanz stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Placido Patxi's shot from short distance in the 19th minute. Axel Tasis kicked well hit freekick during the 22nd minute of the match. The audience was convinced that Placido Patxi's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Benito Sanz was relentless in the 24th minute of the game. Placido Patxi struck a weak shot in the 26th minute. Benito Sanz didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Espinillo. In the 28th minute, Espinillo's Placido Patxi ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Benito Sanz. Benito Sanz yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 4-0. Placido Patxi blasted a shot towards the goal in the 32nd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Benito Sanz having to make a save. Benito Sanz made an important save on a dangerous shot by Placido Patxi in the 33rd minute. After having played for 34 minutes, Ezequiel Onbera managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Espinillo's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ezequiel Onbera was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Placido Patxi did some fancy footwork in front of goal and succeeded to deceive the defenders so he could slam the ball in 5-0 to the left of a surprised Benito Sanz 37 minutes into the match. 46 minutes into the match, Arnulfo Sotil dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Benito Sanz, 6-0. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 6-0 at half-time.

The wind increased when Placido Patxi made the kick off in the second half. 51 minutes into the match, Espinillo's Placido Patxi sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Benito Sanz narrowly saved just below the crossbar. 54 minutes into the game, Placido Patxi cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 7-0. Benito Sanz was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 59th minute Ezequiel Onbera shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Benito Sanz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 60 minutes into the match, Costa Rica's goal looked a bit too open when Placido Patxi came free, but Benito Sanz reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 61st minute Placido Patxi shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Benito Sanz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 64 minutes into the match, Amado Savier had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Benito Sanz. Costa Rica's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Amado Savier was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 8-0. If Placido Patxi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 72nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a rather tough play, Espinillo's Placido Patxi got a free kick in the 75th minute. After 76 played minutes Espinillo got a freekick which was hit by Angelino Boni. Espinillo's Suárez Yasin proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 76th minute of the match, managed to save Espinillo from getting a goal against them. A collision led to Costa Rica getting a freekick after 77 minutes play. Aaron Alcocer hit a great ball. 78 minutes into the match, Amado Savier had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Benito Sanz. Costa Rica's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Amado Savier was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 10-0. Benito Sanz showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Placido Patxi, who was totally free with the ball in the 81st minute. When Amado Savier came up free with the goalie in the 82nd minute, the Espinillo fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Amado Savier couldn't finish the play. When Espinillo's Placido Patxi in the 84th minute got a chance for a shot 84th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Costa Rica's goalie prevented a goal. A collision led to Costa Rica getting a freekick after 86 minutes play. Juan Rubio hit a great ball. Costa Rica's Benito Sanz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ezequiel Onbera in the 87th minute of play. Benito Sanz stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Amado Savier's shot from short distance in the 93rd minute. If Amado Savier had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 96th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.
