Youri De Poorter did some fancy footwork in front of goal and succeeded to deceive the defenders so he could slam the ball in 2-1 to the left of a surprised Dante Lacasa 37 minutes into the match. Horacio Lalla showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Lautaro Mancebo in the 41st minute of the match. Joel Gaona took the ball and in the 44 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Horacio Lalla. Horacio Lalla dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-2. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Youri De Poorter to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 52nd minute Mexico were awarded a corner. Joel Gaona went to the cornerflag to take it. In the 54thth minute of the game Cléberson Gomes who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Mexico's Dante Lacasa was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. The CERVEZA CALIENTE fans' excitement grew in the 54th match minute when CERVEZA CALIENTE's Cléberson Gomes looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 3-2 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Eduardo Diagur kicked well hit freekick during the 56th minute of the match. Horacio Lalla made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Luca Zorita in the 57th minute of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Lautaro Mancebo got free with Horacio Lalla in the 62nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Lorenzo Cazalla blasted a shot towards the goal in the 64th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Horacio Lalla having to make a save. Horacio Lalla made an important save on a dangerous shot by Lautaro Mancebo in the 69th minute. Horacio Lalla showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Luca Zorita, who was totally free with the ball in the 75th minute. Mexico were awarded a corner in the 78th minute after CERVEZA CALIENTE's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Joel Gaona took the corner. For all the effort they put into the match, the Mexico players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for CERVEZA CALIENTE.
