Spectators: 39 (Terracing: 30, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) Gilberto Illart started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. When Eliseo Noboa came up free with the goalie in the 2nd minute, the Costa Rica fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Eliseo Noboa couldn't finish the play. Gilberto Illart came free with the goalkeeper in the 14th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Benito Sanz could save by the left post. Ildefonso Richie scored 1-0 in the 15th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Benito Sanz, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 19th minute Eliseo Noboa shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Pedro Eudoxio saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Costa Rica's Aaron Alcocer was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Pedro Eudoxio in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. With his leg Benito Sanz managed to avoid a goal in the 22ndth minute, when Temperley's Gilberto Illart fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. A collision led to Temperley getting a freekick after 23 minutes play. Gilberto Illart hit a great ball. After 30 played minutes Temperley got a freekick which was hit by Ramon Bittor. The crowd rose to their feet as Temperley's Gilberto Illart slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Benito Sanz. That made the score 4-0 after 38 minutes of play. After 41 played minutes Costa Rica got a freekick which was hit by Hugo Ferrant. Benito Sanz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gilberto Illart in the 47th minute of play. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 4-0 at half-time.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Axel Tasis stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. 55 minutes into the match, Costa Rica's Lautaro Puig sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Pedro Eudoxio narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Gilberto Illart struck a weak shot in the 56th minute. Benito Sanz didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Temperley. Benito Sanz came out of the goal in the 60th minute to try and stop a shot by Temperley's Rodolfo Walme. But to his dismay, Rodolfo Walme quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 5-0. In the 65th minute, Temperley's Candido Tonete seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Candido Tonete the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of Temperley protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Candido Tonete had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. In the 65th match minute, Temperley was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Candido Tonete to maneuver through the defense. After some fancy dribbling in the 66th minute, Axel Tasis managed to get in a good position for a shot. Costa Rica's supporters rose to their feet, but Axel Tasis was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Pedro Eudoxio breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Ildefonso Richie received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 72nd minute. Benito Sanz tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 75th minute Rodolfo Walme shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Benito Sanz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Gualterio Lopez had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 79th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Lautaro Puig fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 81st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Pedro Eudoxio having to interfere. Temperley's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Eliseo Noboa 83 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 5-1. After 86 played minutes Temperley got a freekick which was hit by Iker Llorienzo. 92 minutes into the game, Temperley's Rodolfo Walme nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Benito Sanz made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 6-1.
