In the 4th minute the ball was on its way in behind Honduras's goalkeeper Lautaro Navarro, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. A collision led to A.A. Cachila getting a freekick after 5 minutes play. Terri Moco hit a great ball. A.A. Cachila's Terri Moco pulled a muscle in his leg after 9 minutes and couldn't finish the game. 9 minutes into the game, Esteban Carvallo was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Honduras's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave A.A. Cachila the free kick. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 9th minute of the game. One of Honduras:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of A.A. Cachila:s goal. In the 11th minute, A.A. Cachila got a penalty, and Jonas Orlo placed the ball unsaveable into goal, by the right post. After 15 played minutes Honduras got a freekick which was hit by Sebastian Villa. Lautaro Navarro made a fantastic save in the 19th minute, when Rodrigo Astudillo sent off a good shot on target. Rodrigo Astudillo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 20th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. The audience thought a goal was coming when Rodrigo Astudillo got free with Lautaro Navarro in the 22nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 28 minutes into the match, A.A. Cachila's Rodrigo Astudillo sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Lautaro Navarro narrowly saved just below the crossbar. If Rodrigo Astudillo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 31st minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Lautaro Navarro stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Rodrigo Astudillo's shot from short distance in the 38th minute. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Ivan Navarro during the 39th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A collision led to Honduras getting a freekick after 39 minutes play. Ivan Navarro hit a great ball. After 40 played minutes Honduras got a freekick which was hit by Moises Tafalla. Rodrigo Astudillo could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 48th minute of the match, but Lautaro Navarro made a huge save.

A.A. Cachila's Seymour Skinner was substituted for Roberto Lapurdi. The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Edmundo Espiga was the one to do the kick off. Honduras's Lautaro Navarro played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Rodrigo Astudillo in the 53rd minute of play. In the 54th minute Rodrigo Astudillo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Lautaro Navarro saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in Honduras's zone, Jonas Orlo stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Lautaro Navarro came out of the goal and Jonas Orlo tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 57th minute, Godfredo Tab left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The A.A. Cachila fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-0. The supporters of A.A. Cachila booed when Honduras was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 61 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ivan Navarro didn't get a good kick on the ball. Rodrigo Astudillo scored 3-0 in the 62nd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Lautaro Navarro, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Lautaro Navarro showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Rodrigo Astudillo in the 67th minute of the match. During the 71st minute of the match Ivan Navarro completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Ivan Navarro a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. Ivan Navarro hit a great freekick 72 minutes into the match. In the 74th match minute, Honduras was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ivan Navarro to maneuver through the defense. Lautaro Navarro showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Higinio Brun in the 79th minute of the match. Rodrigo Astudillo scored 4-0 in the 81st match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Lautaro Navarro, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Rodrigo Astudillo might have been able to make a better finish in the 84th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Lautaro Navarro. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Rodrigo Astudillo ran back to his position shaking his head. Lautaro Navarro didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Rodrigo Astudillo went, in the 88th minute, to the upper right corner, 5-0 was the resulting score. A throw-in in the 91st minute of the game was made by Seymour Skinner with Rodrigo Astudillo as target, who quickly passed the ball forward. The audience was convinced that Rodrigo Astudillo's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Lautaro Navarro was relentless in the 93rd minute of the game. Rodrigo Astudillo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 96th minute. Lautaro Navarro tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. A.A. Cachila fully deserved thier win.
