Lautaro Navarro showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Aquiles Leonidas, who was totally free with the ball in the 15th minute. Lautaro Navarro didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Aquiles Leonidas went, in the 17th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-0 was the resulting score. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Aquiles Leonidas in the 22nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Lautaro Navarro saved Honduras from getting behind. Lautaro Navarro took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Aquiles Leonidas, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 34 minutes, Edmundo Espiga made it 2-1 with a short kick to the right side. Flamengo FSCMZ's Silas Carneiro tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Şensoy Peyam hit a great freekick 38 minutes into the match. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-1 at half-time.

The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Honduras. 57 minutes into the match, Aquiles Leonidas had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Lautaro Navarro. Honduras's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Aquiles Leonidas was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-1. 60 minutes into the match, Flamengo FSCMZ's Aquiles Leonidas sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Lautaro Navarro narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Lautaro Navarro made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Aquiles Leonidas in the 74th minute of play. A sloppy throw-in by Şensoy Peyam in the 76th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Honduras's Christian Sancho. 79 minutes into the match, Aquiles Leonidas notched a goal, 5-1, to the right of Honduras's Lautaro Navarro. Lautaro Navarro was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Aquiles Leonidas struck a weak shot in the 85th minute. Lautaro Navarro didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Flamengo FSCMZ. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Aquiles Leonidas in the 89th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Lautaro Navarro prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 91st minute, Chico Neto hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After having played for 92 minutes, Edmundo Espiga managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Honduras's supporters crossed their fingers, but Edmundo Espiga was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 94 minutes into the match, Aquiles Leonidas notched a goal, 6-1, to the right of Honduras's Lautaro Navarro. Lautaro Navarro was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Honduras's supporters were dissatisfied at the end of the match because Flamengo FSCMZ had won, even though Honduras had held more of the ball.
