Spectators: 41 (Terracing: 32, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Xande Xande took the kick off in the first half of the match. Luís Fábio Silveira showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Axel Tasis in the 4th minute of the match. With his leg Benito Sanz managed to avoid a goal in the 10thth minute, when Flamengo FSCMZ's Sven-Erik Harman fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Benito Sanz took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Aquiles Leonidas, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 17th minute of the match Flamengo FSCMZ got a corner. Costa Rica's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Aquiles Leonidas ran over to the corner to take the kick. The corner led Flamengo FSCMZ's Régis Araújo to a score. 1-0 in the 17th minute. The supporters of Flamengo FSCMZ booed when Costa Rica was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 23 match minutes in a wonderful position. Alexander Carballo didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 27th match minute, Flamengo FSCMZ was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Xande Xande to maneuver through the defense. 33 minutes into the match, Xande Xande notched a goal, 2-0, to the right of Costa Rica's Benito Sanz. Benito Sanz was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Lautaro Puig might have been able to make a better finish in the 39th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Luís Fábio Silveira. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Lautaro Puig ran back to his position shaking his head. Benito Sanz showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Xande Xande in the 40th minute of the match. Xande Xande sent away a hard shot on goal in the 43rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The wind increased when Axel Tasis made the kick off in the second half. After having played for 51 minutes, Lautaro Puig managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Costa Rica's supporters crossed their fingers, but Lautaro Puig was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 54th minute, Eliseo Noboa fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Luís Fábio Silveira, passed just outside the right post. A collision led to Costa Rica getting a freekick after 57 minutes play. Lautaro Puig hit a great ball. Germano Silva hit a great freekick 59 minutes into the match. Axel Tasis fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 60th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Luís Fábio Silveira having to interfere. Germano Silva kicked well hit freekick during the 78th minute of the match. After 80 played minutes Flamengo FSCMZ got a freekick which was hit by Fabiano de Medeiros. Luís Fábio Silveira made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Eliseo Noboa in the 81st minute of play. Lautaro Puig sent away a hard shot on goal in the 83rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 85 minutes into the match, Costa Rica's goal looked a bit too open when Aquiles Leonidas came free, but Benito Sanz reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Felippe Rosa kicked well hit freekick during the 87th minute of the match. Benito Sanz showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Aquiles Leonidas, who was totally free with the ball in the 90th minute. 93 minutes into the match, Eliseo Noboa dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Luís Fábio Silveira, 3-1.
