Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) Julio Vera made a fantastic save in the 7th minute, when Lucas Langoni sent off a good shot on target. When Luis Andino came up free with the goalie in the 10th minute, the Ecuador fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Luis Andino couldn't finish the play. After some careless play in the Suipacha FC defense, Daniel Zorita kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Justino Stanislao. The Suipacha FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Justino Stanislao should have stopped the shot. Julio Vera showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Lucas Langoni, who was totally free with the ball in the 18th minute. Tor Lönn received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Julio Vera came out and tried to block the shot, but Tor Lönn slotted it home off the left post making it 1-1 in the 20th minute. 30 minutes into the match, Suipacha FC's goal looked a bit too open when Daniel Zorita came free, but Justino Stanislao reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Tor Lönn fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 35th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Julio Vera having to interfere. Julio Vera showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Lucas Langoni, who was totally free with the ball in the 41st minute. Preston Keato recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 45th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-1 at half-time.

In the 52nd match minute, Suipacha FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ferdi Sekste to maneuver through the defense. 62 minutes into the match, Ecuador's goal looked a bit too open when Lucas Langoni came free, but Julio Vera reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Julio Vera tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 79 minutes into the game, Agustín Saelices was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Ecuador's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Suipacha FC the free kick. After a rather tough play, Ecuador's Agustín Saelices got a free kick in the 79th minute. One of Ecuador:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Suipacha FC:s goal. The referee gave Suipacha FC a penalty, 95 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Paulo Dibala, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Ecuador's Julio Vera. 4-1. Ecuador's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
