After 17 played minutes Panama got a freekick which was hit by Alex Cambeiro. 24 minutes into the match, Panama's goalkeeper Marcos Cotilla had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Clóvis Proença. Marcos Cotilla made a fantastic save in the 28th minute, when Clóvis Proença sent off a good shot on target. With a little luck, Panama's Marcos Cotilla got control of the ball when Jurand Sienkowski tried to sneak it across the goal line. Callegari's Grigoris Gavril was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Marcos Cotilla in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. 2-0 became the score in the 35th minute when Jurand Sienkowski elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. Abraham Alguacil kicked well hit freekick during the 38th minute of the match. In the 39th minute Jurand Sienkowski shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Marcos Cotilla saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Panama's Marcos Cotilla proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 40th minute of the match, managed to save Panama from getting a goal against them. Panama's defense didn't have a chance, in the 40th minute, when Clóvis Proença scored to the left of an out of position Marcos Cotilla, making the score, 3-0. An unexpectedly hard shot by Isidoro Sarmiento in the 46th minute of play forced Callegari's goalkeeper Telmo Almeida to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Alex Cambeiro kicked well hit freekick during the 47th minute of the match. Delfim Tepedino, 48 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Jurand Sienkowski to make the kick off. Marcos Cotilla made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Clóvis Proença in the 55th minute of play. When Callegari's Clóvis Proença in the 56th minute got a chance for a shot 56th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Panama's goalie prevented a goal. Marcos Cotilla came out of the goal in the 69th minute to try and stop a shot by Callegari's Clóvis Proença. But to his dismay, Clóvis Proença quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 4-0. Callegari's Meng Rong Zhou was substituted for Clóvis Proença. Callegari's Albertinho Teles was substituted for Grigoris Gavril. Callegari made a substitution. Eduardo Guerrero replaced Jurand Sienkowski. Marcos Cotilla took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Eduardo Guerrero, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. A collision led to Panama getting a freekick after 89 minutes play. Aaron Barrios hit a great ball. After a rather tough play, Panama's Aaron Barrios got a free kick in the 90th minute. After a defensive mix-up in Panama's zone, Delfim Tepedino stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Marcos Cotilla came out of the goal and Delfim Tepedino tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Marcos Cotilla showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Eduardo Guerrero, who was totally free with the ball in the 93rd minute. Marcos Cotilla didn't succeed to prevent the ball from going into goal when Callegari's Eduardo Guerrero shot an unexpected shot in the crossbar's under edge and made 6-1 in the ordered_time% minute. The supporters of Panama booed when Callegari was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 97 match minutes in a wonderful position. Joaquin Isoba didn't get a good kick on the ball.
