Spectators: 50 (Terracing: 38, Seating: 11, VIP seats: 1) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Oliver Bierhoff kicked off to start the match. Panama's Marcos Cotilla proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 8th minute of the match, managed to save Panama from getting a goal against them. Jeremias Moreno took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Abraham Alguacil, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. A nice corner shot did that Abraham Alguacil got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Jeremias Moreno quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Tomas Berganza took the ball and in the 13 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Jeremias Moreno. Jeremias Moreno dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. In the 19th minute, Oliver Bierhoff left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The ADM Taquaras fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-1. 27 minutes into the game, Oliver Bierhoff cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-1. Marcos Cotilla was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Panama's defense didn't have a chance, in the 31st minute, when Oliver Bierhoff scored to the left of an out of position Marcos Cotilla, making the score, 3-1. With his leg Marcos Cotilla managed to avoid a goal in the 35thth minute, when ADM Taquaras's Oliver Bierhoff fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. The audience thought a goal was coming when Oliver Bierhoff got free with Marcos Cotilla in the 37th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. ADM Taquaras's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Malcolm Westerberg in the 38th minute. In the 39th minute Denílson Tepedino shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Marcos Cotilla saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Panama's Marcos Cotilla proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 41st minute of the match, managed to save Panama from getting a goal against them. 43 minutes into the match, Panama's goalkeeper Marcos Cotilla had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Oliver Bierhoff. Marcos Cotilla stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Oliver Bierhoff's shot from short distance in the 45th minute. Jeremias Moreno showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Isidoro Sarmiento in the 47th minute of the match. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 3-1.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Tomas Berganza stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Marcos Cotilla took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Denílson Tepedino, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Jeremias Moreno took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Isidoro Sarmiento, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After having played for 65 minutes, Oliver Bierhoff managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. ADM Taquaras's supporters crossed their fingers, but Oliver Bierhoff was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Marcos Cotilla showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Denílson Tepedino in the 66th minute of the match. A collision led to ADM Taquaras getting a freekick after 70 minutes play. Celsinho Perez hit a great ball. In the 77th minute, Denílson Tepedino ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Marcos Cotilla was frozen by the shot and now it was 6-1. Matthew Garrido hit a great freekick 82 minutes into the match. In the 85th minute ADM Taquaras were awarded a corner. Malcolm Westerberg went to the cornerflag to take it. After taking down the ball on ADM Taquaras's corner Denílson Tepedino fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Marcos Cotilla quite easily take care of the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Isidoro Sarmiento in the 87th minute of play forced ADM Taquaras's goalkeeper Jeremias Moreno to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 89th minute Oliver Bierhoff shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Marcos Cotilla saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When ADM Taquaras's Oliver Bierhoff in the 92nd minute got a chance for a shot 92nd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Panama's goalie prevented a goal. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. ADM Taquaras had played much better football throughout.
