In the 36th minute, José Javier Doberti hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 42 minutes into the game, Honduras's Edmundo Espiga nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Ding Kahn made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-1. Ding Kahn took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Edmundo Espiga, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Rollo Lukey to strike the kick off in the second half. Mo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 51st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Ding Kahn showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Edmundo Espiga, who was totally free with the ball in the 68th minute.
