Joaquin Gayoso showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Fagondo Vasquez in the 13th minute of the match. 18 minutes into the match, BRASIL.Sp's goal looked a bit too open when Alberto Gisbert came free, but Luís Guilherme Marques reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 20 minutes into the match, Uruguay's goal looked a bit too open when Fagondo Vasquez came free, but Joaquin Gayoso reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 23 minutes BRASIL.Sp's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Jaime Cazalla who took care of the corner kick. The corner led Uruguay's Jaime Cazalla to fire away a dangerous shot which Luís Guilherme Marques despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. 25 minutes into the match, Uruguay's goal looked a bit too open when Fagondo Vasquez came free, but Joaquin Gayoso reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 1-0 became the score in the 25th minute when Fagondo Vasquez elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. After a defensive mix-up in BRASIL.Sp's zone, Francisco Seco stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Luís Guilherme Marques came out of the goal and Francisco Seco tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Francisco Seco sent away a hard shot on goal in the 32nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 35 played minutes Uruguay got a freekick which was hit by Arturo Carvallo. Joaquin Gayoso acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 35th minute, took the ball on the long shot from Durval Campidelis. Elói Amaral's late challenge caught a Uruguay's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Elói Amaral helped the player get up and apologised. An unexpectedly hard shot by Maximiliano Escribano in the 46th minute of play forced BRASIL.Sp's goalkeeper Luís Guilherme Marques to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Fagondo Vasquez stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Fagondo Vasquez blasted a shot towards the goal in the 51st minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Joaquin Gayoso having to make a save. Luís Guilherme Marques made a fantastic save in the 56th minute, when Francisco Seco sent off a good shot on target. Fagondo Vasquez's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Joaquin Gayoso read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 57th minute of play. After 60 minutes Uruguay's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Durval Campidelis who took care of the corner kick. Joaquin Gayoso showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Fagondo Vasquez in the 64th minute of the match. Fagondo Vasquez sent away a hard shot on goal in the 67th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Joaquin Gayoso didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Nilson Perez went, in the 72nd minute, to the upper right corner, 2-0 was the resulting score. Joaquin Gayoso made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Fagondo Vasquez in the 75th minute of play. BRASIL.Sp's Luís Guilherme Marques proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 76th minute of the match, managed to save BRASIL.Sp from getting a goal against them. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Akiba Teben in the 77th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Joaquin Gayoso saved Uruguay from getting behind. 78 minutes into the match, Alberto Gisbert notched a goal, 2-1, to the right of BRASIL.Sp's Luís Guilherme Marques. Luís Guilherme Marques was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Joaquin Gayoso took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Akiba Teben, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Maximiliano Escribano had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 86th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 88 minutes into the match, Uruguay's goal looked a bit too open when Akiba Teben came free, but Joaquin Gayoso reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Uruguay's Joaquin Gayoso played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Fagondo Vasquez in the 93rd minute of play. The home crowd let out a huge roar when the referee blew for the end of the game. BRASIL.Sp were victorious despite being under pressure from Uruguay for much of the match.
