The referee ignored Venezuela's protests and gave Jose Correa a yellow card for diving instead. Jose Correa kicked well hit freekick during the 89th minute of the match. In the 92nd minute Virgil Enoaia shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jonathan Ferrant saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If 沈战渊 had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 94th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.
