Jonathan Alphonse kicked well hit freekick during the 34th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ernso Constant in the 37th minute of play forced SORRISO E. C.'s goalkeeper Valdo Catarinense to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Vítor Sousa took the ball and in the 38 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Noel Seide. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Jonathan Alphonse to make the kick off. C.'s Valdo Catarinense played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jonathan Alphonse in the 73rd minute of play. If Ernso Constant had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 74th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. C.'s Valdo Catarinense got control of the ball when Jonathan Alphonse tried to sneak it across the goal line. Rodney Emmanuel kicked well hit freekick during the 87th minute of the match. After 93 minutes of play, Haiti's Gesner Philippe made it 1-4 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Valdo Catarinense was left in no man's land by his defense there! Haiti's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
