Spectators: 44 (Terracing: 34, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Daniel Zorita got the match started through his kick off. 3 minutes into the match, Diablos FC's goal looked a bit too open when Daniel Zorita came free, but João Vítor de Amorim reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Julio Vera showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Reimundo Casado in the 5th minute of the match. In the 20th minute Cristian Sancho shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but João Vítor de Amorim saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Moises Suane got free with Julio Vera in the 23rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 25th minute, Sydney Alcântara hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 27 minutes into the match, Diablos FC's goal looked a bit too open when Luis Andino came free, but João Vítor de Amorim reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. João Vítor de Amorim showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cristian Sancho, who was totally free with the ball in the 32nd minute. 33 minutes had been played when some careless play by Diablos FC's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Daniel Zorita was slow to take the kick. During this time Ecuador's players had a chance to rest. After taking down the ball on Ecuador's corner Daniel Zorita fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and João Vítor de Amorim quite easily take care of the ball. If Asencio Cuffaro had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 37th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. João Vítor de Amorim took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Daniel Zorita, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 43rd minute of the match Ecuador got a corner. Diablos FC's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Daniel Zorita ran over to the corner to take the kick. It was a well-played corner which Felix Montenegro managed to volley towards the net. Unfortunately, he didn't get a great hit on the ball and it went out into the grandstand. João Vítor de Amorim came out of the goal in the 47th minute to try and stop a shot by Ecuador's Daniel Zorita. But to his dismay, Daniel Zorita quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Kaviedes Arrese to strike the kick off in the second half. 55 minutes into the match, Ecuador's goal looked a bit too open when Moises Suane came free, but Julio Vera reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The supporters of Ecuador booed when Diablos FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 57 match minutes in a wonderful position. Kaviedes Arrese didn't get a good kick on the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Moises Suane in the 62nd minute of play forced Ecuador's goalkeeper Julio Vera to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Cristian Sancho had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 65th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Diablos FC's Omar Gochicoa was substituted for Cândido Júdice. An unexpectedly hard shot by Kaviedes Arrese in the 69th minute of play forced Ecuador's goalkeeper Julio Vera to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Kaviedes Arrese in the 71st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Julio Vera prevented the ball from getting in the gole. When the match had gone on for 71 minutes, Kaviedes Arrese put it in 1-1 from a short distance just to the right of Julio Vera. 76 minutes into the match, Diablos FC's goal looked a bit too open when Cristian Sancho came free, but João Vítor de Amorim reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. João Vítor de Amorim showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cristian Sancho in the 79th minute of the match. 81 minutes into the game, Luis Andino cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-2. João Vítor de Amorim was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. João Vítor de Amorim made a fantastic save in the 86th minute, when Felix Montenegro sent off a good shot on target. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Franklin Hostos in the 89th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Julio Vera prevented the ball from getting in the gole. An unexpectedly hard shot by Kaviedes Arrese in the 93rd minute of play forced Ecuador's goalkeeper Julio Vera to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Daniel Zorita blasted a shot towards the goal in the 96th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without João Vítor de Amorim having to make a save. Ecuador played a much better game than Diablos FC and deserved their victory. The Diablos FC players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
