Spectators: 41 (Terracing: 32, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) Cassius Byrne started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. Angelo Peruzzi showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Monty Rogers in the 4th minute of the match. Borussia Dortmund MZB's Angelo Peruzzi played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Monty Rogers in the 5th minute of play. After 6 minutes of play, USA's Monty Rogers made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Angelo Peruzzi was left in no man's land by his defense there! Angelo Peruzzi came out of the goal in the 11th minute to try and stop a shot by USA's Monty Rogers. But to his dismay, Monty Rogers quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. An unexpectedly hard shot by Monty Rogers in the 17th minute of play forced Borussia Dortmund MZB's goalkeeper Angelo Peruzzi to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Borussia Dortmund MZB's Angelo Peruzzi played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Monty Rogers in the 20th minute of play. In the 23rd minute Edward Mcdonald shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Angelo Peruzzi saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After some fancy dribbling in the 25th minute, Oséias Palmeira managed to get in a good position for a shot. Borussia Dortmund MZB's supporters rose to their feet, but Oséias Palmeira was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Marco Day breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 26 minutes into the match, Borussia Dortmund MZB's goal looked a bit too open when Cassius Byrne came free, but Angelo Peruzzi reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When USA's Cassius Byrne in the 28th minute got a chance for a shot 28th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Borussia Dortmund MZB's goalie prevented a goal. Angelo Peruzzi showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cassius Byrne, who was totally free with the ball in the 32nd minute. USA were awarded a corner in the 35th minute after Borussia Dortmund MZB's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Cassius Byrne took the corner. Marco Day made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Percival Koehler in the 37th minute of play. After having played for 38 minutes, Monty Rogers managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. USA's supporters crossed their fingers, but Monty Rogers was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 40th minute Monty Rogers shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Angelo Peruzzi saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Marco Day took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Luís Fabiano Leão, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-3.

The wind increased when Luís Fabiano Leão made the kick off in the second half. After a defensive mix-up in Borussia Dortmund MZB's zone, Jenson Smith stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Angelo Peruzzi came out of the goal and Jenson Smith tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 54 minutes into the match, Borussia Dortmund MZB's goalkeeper Angelo Peruzzi had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Cassius Byrne. Borussia Dortmund MZB's Angelo Peruzzi proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 56th minute of the match, managed to save Borussia Dortmund MZB from getting a goal against them. Marco Day took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Luís Fabiano Leão, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. USA's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Cassius Byrne in the 64th minute. Borussia Dortmund MZB's Angelo Peruzzi played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Monty Rogers in the 68th minute of play. 72 minutes into the match, Borussia Dortmund MZB's goalkeeper Angelo Peruzzi had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Cassius Byrne. Angelo Peruzzi made a fantastic save in the 73rd minute, when Cassius Byrne sent off a good shot on target. The audience was convinced that Cassius Byrne's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Angelo Peruzzi was relentless in the 73rd minute of the game. Cassius Byrne received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 75th minute. Angelo Peruzzi tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Borussia Dortmund MZB's Gernando Pernambucano was substituted for Oséias Palmeira. USA's Marco Baker was substituted for Edward Mcdonald. Gernando Pernambucano scored 1-4 in the 78th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Marco Day, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 82nd minute the ball was on its way in behind USA's goalkeeper Marco Day, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Borussia Dortmund MZB were awarded a corner in the 83th minute after USA's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Luis Blasi took the corner. In the 84th minute Gernando Pernambucano shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Marco Day saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Borussia Dortmund MZB's Angelo Peruzzi played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jenson Smith in the 89th minute of play. Marco Day stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Gernando Pernambucano's shot from short distance in the 92nd minute. After 94 minutes USA's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Luis Blasi who took care of the corner kick.
