An unexpectedly hard shot by Moises Fernandino in the 4th minute of play forced Villa Martelli Soc. Fom.'s goalkeeper Haroldo Ado to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Emilio Cordarius in the 6th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Ricardo Zorita saved El Salvador from getting behind. Ricardo Zorita made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Erubiel Quinton in the 9th minute of play. In the 18thth minute of the game Emilio Cordarius who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but El Salvador's Ricardo Zorita was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. The crowd rose to their feet as Villa Martelli Soc. Fom.'s Emilio Cordarius slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Ricardo Zorita. That made the score 2-0 after 21 minutes of play. Ricardo Zorita showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Erubiel Quinton in the 24th minute of the match. After a rather tough play, El Salvador's Valentino Ferrant got a free kick in the 27th minute. 29 minutes into the match, Villa Martelli Soc. Fom.'s goal looked a bit too open when Moises Fernandino came free, but Haroldo Ado reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. El Salvador were furious when Lorenzo Yepes was red carded, 39 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. 38 minutes into the game, one of El Salvador:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. El Salvador's Ricardo Zorita played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Emilio Cordarius in the 48th minute of play. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 4-0.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Emilio Cordarius stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Lucio Cutberto replaced Placido Astudillo. After 80 played minutes El Salvador got a freekick which was hit by Jesus Carvallo. When the match clock showed 82 minutes, the score became 8-0 when Ulises Rico sped through El Salvador's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Ricardo Zorita. Ricardo Zorita took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Emilio Cordarius, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After some careless play in the El Salvador defense, Ulises Rico kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Ricardo Zorita. The El Salvador fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Ricardo Zorita should have stopped the shot. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Villa Martelli Soc. Fom. fully deserved thier win.
