Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Axel Tasis took the kick off in the first half of the match. Felipe Nerio blasted a shot towards the goal in the 3rd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Benito Sanz having to make a save. Benito Sanz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Felipe Nerio in the 3rd minute of play. The supporters of Costa Rica booed when Academia Santista CIMZ was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 8 match minutes in a wonderful position. Augusto Vander didn't get a good kick on the ball. After having played for 11 minutes, Felipe Nerio managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Academia Santista CIMZ's supporters crossed their fingers, but Felipe Nerio was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. With a little luck, Costa Rica's Benito Sanz got control of the ball when Felipe Nerio tried to sneak it across the goal line. After 14 minutes of play, Academia Santista CIMZ's Felipe Nerio made it 2-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Benito Sanz was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 19th match minute, Academia Santista CIMZ was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Severino Turres to maneuver through the defense. Axel Tasis fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 21st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gu Zhan Wei having to interfere. After 22 minutes, Efrain Moruga mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Costa Rica and the Academia Santista CIMZ players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of Academia Santista CIMZ booed when Costa Rica was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 24 match minutes in a wonderful position. Efrain Moruga didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Costa Rica's zone, Felipe Nerio stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Benito Sanz came out of the goal and Felipe Nerio tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. When Lautaro Puig fell near the penalty area in the 26th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Costa Rica's protests and gave Lautaro Puig a yellow card for diving instead. Lautaro Puig kicked well hit freekick during the 26th minute of the match. In the 28th minute, Felipe Nerio left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Academia Santista CIMZ fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-0. Felipe Nerio who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 32ndth minute tested the skills of Benito Sanz when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Benito Sanz showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Felipe Nerio, who was totally free with the ball in the 35th minute. Academia Santista CIMZ's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Francisco Lopez in the 37th minute. The corner ended in Francisco Lopez almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Costa Rica's Benito Sanz did a great save. Felipe Nerio received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 38th minute. Benito Sanz tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 40 minutes, Francisco Lopez mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Academia Santista CIMZ and the Costa Rica players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 40th minute, Francisco Lopez hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 43 minutes into the match, Costa Rica's goal looked a bit too open when Felipe Nerio came free, but Benito Sanz reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 3-0.

In the 52nd minute, Felipe Nerio got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 54 minutes into the game, Academia Santista CIMZ's Felipe Nerio nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Benito Sanz made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 4-0. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Felipe Nerio in the 58th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Benito Sanz saved Costa Rica from getting behind. Felipe Nerio might have been able to make a better finish in the 60th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Benito Sanz. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Felipe Nerio ran back to his position shaking his head. Benito Sanz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Felipe Nerio in the 60th minute of play. In the 65th minute, Felipe Nerio left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Academia Santista CIMZ fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 5-0. Felipe Nerio scored 6-0 in the 71st match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Benito Sanz, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Benito Sanz showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Felipe Nerio, who was totally free with the ball in the 75th minute. Efrain Moruga kicked well hit freekick during the 79th minute of the match. In a very dangerous position, a player in Costa Rica fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 80th minute. Penalty! In the 81st minute there was a penalty for Academia Santista CIMZ. Felipe Nerio stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Benito Sanz. 7-0. In the 85th minute, Aaron Alcocer hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Lautaro Puig hit a great freekick 86 minutes into the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Eliseo Noboa got free with Gu Zhan Wei in the 88th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 90 minutes into the match, Academia Santista CIMZ's goal looked a bit too open when Axel Tasis came free, but Gu Zhan Wei reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Academia Santista CIMZ's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
