Spectators: 41 (Terracing: 32, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Abram Sarmiento kicked off to start the match. The supporters of Colombia booed when Cöpacabana FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 6 match minutes in a wonderful position. Diguinho Martins didn't get a good kick on the ball. The audience was convinced that Abram Sarmiento's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Dagoberto Loureiro was relentless in the 7th minute of the game. Colombia's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Axel Montenegro in the 8th minute. A nice corner shot did that Axel Montenegro got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Dagoberto Loureiro quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. In the 12th minute of the match, Vito Leite got a very nice opportunity to score, but Pedro Manzanares was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. Pedro Manzanares took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Vito Leite, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Abram Sarmiento received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 18th minute. Dagoberto Loureiro tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 20th play minutes Stig-Åke Benet shot 1-0, a short shot which went by Pedro Manzanares and just under the crossbar into goal. In the 23rd minute, Cöpacabana FC's Vito Leite ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Pedro Manzanares. Pedro Manzanares yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 2-0. In the 26th minute of the match Colombia got a corner. Cöpacabana FC's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Axel Montenegro ran over to the corner to take the kick. Vito Leite could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 31st minute of the match, but Pedro Manzanares made a huge save. An unexpectedly hard shot by Axel Montenegro in the 34th minute of play forced Cöpacabana FC's goalkeeper Dagoberto Loureiro to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Abram Sarmiento fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 36th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Dagoberto Loureiro having to interfere. Orlando Tafalla kicked well hit freekick during the 37th minute of the match. Dagoberto Loureiro made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Axel Montenegro in the 42nd minute of play. When the match clock showed 47 minutes, the score became 2-1 when Axel Montenegro sped through Cöpacabana FC's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Dagoberto Loureiro. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Vito Leite stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Dagoberto Loureiro stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Abram Sarmiento's shot from short distance in the 53rd minute. Dagoberto Loureiro showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Abram Sarmiento, who was totally free with the ball in the 57th minute. Axel Montenegro who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 61stth minute tested the skills of Dagoberto Loureiro when he managed to save the team from getting behind. If Santino Seco had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 63rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Cöpacabana FC's Harald Boman was substituted for Beto Braga. Pedro Manzanares made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Dobromir Brudnicki in the 66th minute of play. Axel Montenegro's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Dagoberto Loureiro read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 71st minute of play. Colombia's Ignacio Mastache was substituted for Abram Sarmiento. Fabrício Berger hit a great freekick 74 minutes into the match. After a rather tough play, Cöpacabana FC's Angelino Gentza got a free kick in the 76th minute. After having played for 77 minutes, Ignacio Mastache managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Colombia's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ignacio Mastache was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. When the match had gone on for 81 minutes, Abram Secada took a quick shot and it went in 2-2 without a chance for Dagoberto Loureiro to make any attempt to save it. With an all-out effort, Colombia's Dagoberto Loureiro threw himself towards the right post 83 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Santino Seco, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Ignacio Mastache scored 2-3 in the 85th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Dagoberto Loureiro, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Pedro Manzanares took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Talha İstanbul, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Pascual Carballar had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 91st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Dobromir Brudnicki received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 96th minute. Pedro Manzanares tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Colombia walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
