Igor Lebas started the match with the kick off. 5 minutes in the game Amancio Semeno did a throw-in, and the ball was quickly in game thanks to Noel Hargrave. Rolando Noboa made an important save on a dangerous shot by Igor Lebas in the 6th minute. In the 7th minute of the match KaoS Futbol Club got a corner. Peru's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Narciso Noe ran over to the corner to take the kick. The corner led KaoS Futbol Club's Narciso Noe to fire away a dangerous shot which Rolando Noboa despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. After 11 minutes of play, Peru's Eliseo Mina made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Pierluigi Buffon was left in no man's land by his defense there! After having played for 19 minutes, Luz Tejedor managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Peru's supporters crossed their fingers, but Luz Tejedor was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Narciso Noe recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 27th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. A collision led to KaoS Futbol Club getting a freekick after 28 minutes play. Noel Hargrave hit a great ball. In the 30th minute, Julian Murillo ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Pierluigi Buffon was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-2. Dobromir Kaczucha charged in rather forcefully in the 45th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Dobromir Kaczucha the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Dobromir Kaczucha kicked well hit freekick during the 45th minute of the match. In the 46th minute, Luz Tejedor got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-2.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Julian Murillo stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Emmanuel Reyes hit a great freekick 53 minutes into the match. Rolando Noboa stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Igor Lebas's shot from short distance in the 54th minute. A collision led to Peru getting a freekick after 55 minutes play. With a little luck, KaoS Futbol Club's Pierluigi Buffon got control of the ball when Julian Murillo tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 61st minute Julian Murillo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Pierluigi Buffon saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 63 minutes into the match, KaoS Futbol Club's Igor Lebas sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Rolando Noboa narrowly saved just below the crossbar. KaoS Futbol Club's Pierluigi Buffon proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 68th minute of the match, managed to save KaoS Futbol Club from getting a goal against them. With a little luck, KaoS Futbol Club's Pierluigi Buffon got control of the ball when Julian Murillo tried to sneak it across the goal line. The crowd rose to their feet as Milagros Fraga kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Pierluigi Buffon. That made the score 0-3 in the 73 minute of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Igor Lebas in the 79th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Rolando Noboa saved Peru from getting behind. Noel Hargrave's late challenge caught a Peru's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Noel Hargrave helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of Peru booed when KaoS Futbol Club was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 80 match minutes in a wonderful position. Noel Hargrave didn't get a good kick on the ball. Eliseo Mina received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 83rd minute. Pierluigi Buffon tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Peru made a substitution. Antonio Tenorio replaced Luz Tejedor. Rafael Gallo could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 90th minute of the match, but Pierluigi Buffon made a huge save. The supporters of Peru booed when KaoS Futbol Club was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 92 match minutes in a wonderful position. Dobromir Kaczucha didn't get a good kick on the ball. The audience thought it was a sure goal in the 94th minute, when Peru's Eliseo Mina after having done a great run through the defense got himself free with Pierluigi Buffon in KaoS Futbol Club's goal and fired away a shot, but it missed the goal by a fraction of an inch. When the final whistle sounded Peru left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than KaoS Futbol Club.
