After some careless play in the Jamaica defense, Lisandro Niva kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Demonde Jacobson. The Jamaica fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Demonde Jacobson should have stopped the shot. When Kévin Zenón came up free with the goalie in the 8th minute, the Club Atletico Los Andes fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Kévin Zenón couldn't finish the play. In the 13th minute of the match, Kévin Zenón tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Demonde Jacobson saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. A collision led to Club Atletico Los Andes getting a freekick after 15 minutes play. Benjamin Jaizki hit a great ball. Leron Sale might have been able to make a better finish in the 19th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Donato Calvet. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Leron Sale ran back to his position shaking his head. 22 minutes into the match, Jamaica's goalkeeper Demonde Jacobson had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Lisandro Niva. After some careless play in the Jamaica defense, Kévin Zenón kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Demonde Jacobson. The Jamaica fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Demonde Jacobson should have stopped the shot. Demonde Jacobson was a little too slow when Kévin Zenón got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 26th minute. The score was now 3-0. Jamaica's Demonde Jacobson proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 35th minute of the match, managed to save Jamaica from getting a goal against them. Kévin Zenón received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Demonde Jacobson came out and tried to block the shot, but Kévin Zenón slotted it home off the left post making it 4-0 in the 38th minute. After 41 minutes, Finlay Stair mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Jamaica and the Club Atletico Los Andes players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of Club Atletico Los Andes booed when Jamaica was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 41 match minutes in a wonderful position. Finlay Stair didn't get a good kick on the ball. Club Atletico Los Andes's Kévin Zenón got a good chance for a goal in the 43rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 4-0.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Kévin Zenón to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 52nd minute Danilo Abajas shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Demonde Jacobson saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Demonde Jacobson showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Blas Benat in the 53rd minute of the match. Romon Oliver kicked well hit freekick during the 56th minute of the match. Finlay Stair received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 60th minute. Donato Calvet tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Blas Benat fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 62nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Demonde Jacobson having to interfere. A hard shot by Finlay Stair from long distance, 64 minutes into the match, got Donato Calvet's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. 68 minutes into the match, Jamaica's goal looked a bit too open when Kévin Zenón came free, but Demonde Jacobson reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Club Atletico Los Andes had played much better football throughout.
