Roman Olaverrieta didn't get a good kick on the ball. 32 minutes into the match, Gilberto Jakobe dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Jonathan Ferrant, 2-0. 36 minutes into the game, Roman Olaverrieta was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Lealtad Futbol Club's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Venezuela the free kick. After 42 played minutes Venezuela got a freekick which was hit by Tomas Illescas. In the 43rd minute, Lealtad Futbol Club's Gilberto Jakobe ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Jonathan Ferrant. Jonathan Ferrant yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 3-0. Méndez Marfa showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Patricio Costa in the 46th minute of the match. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 3-0 at half-time.

Lealtad Futbol Club's Toro Martínez was substituted for Gilberto Jakobe. The wind increased when Tomas Illescas made the kick off in the second half. Alex Chicote made in the 59th minute of the game a quick throw-in and Joshua Secada immediately put the ball in play. Tomas Illescas sent away a hard shot on goal in the 61st minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. After a rather tough play, Venezuela's Tomas Illescas got a free kick in the 70th minute. After some careless play in the Venezuela defense, Toro Martínez kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Jonathan Ferrant. The Venezuela fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Jonathan Ferrant should have stopped the shot. Alex Chicote kicked well hit freekick during the 81st minute of the match. 84 minutes had been played when some careless play by Venezuela's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Intriago Alpanseque was slow to take the kick. During this time Lealtad Futbol Club's players had a chance to rest. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Toro Martínez in the 87th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Jonathan Ferrant prevented the ball from getting in the gole. When the match clock showed 87 minutes, the score became 5-0 when Toro Martínez sped through Venezuela's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Jonathan Ferrant. In the 92nd minute of the game Alex Chicote made a throw-in which Patricio Costa played forward. Jonathan Ferrant took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Toro Martínez, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 97th minute, Toro Martínez ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Jonathan Ferrant was frozen by the shot and now it was 6-0. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Lealtad Futbol Club had won after a very even match.
