Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) Tosta Neto F.C's César Soberano started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. 4 minutes into the match, Tosta Neto F.C's César Soberano sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Benito Sanz narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Benito Sanz took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from César Soberano, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. César Soberano hit a great freekick 7 minutes into the match. After 10 minutes of play, Tosta Neto F.C's César Soberano made it 1-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Benito Sanz was left in no man's land by his defense there! The throw-in from Hugo Ferrant in the 13th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Tosta Neto F.C's Zenaido Obaldia. After having played for 15 minutes, Lautaro Puig managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Costa Rica's supporters crossed their fingers, but Lautaro Puig was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Dráuzio Azevedo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Axel Tasis, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Axel Tasis kicked well hit freekick during the 20th minute of the match. Aaron Alcocer hit a great freekick 22 minutes into the match. In the 25th match minute, Tosta Neto F.C was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Wiliam Gaúcho to maneuver through the defense. Lautaro Puig struck a weak shot in the 27th minute. Dráuzio Azevedo didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Costa Rica. César Soberano could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 28th minute of the match, but Benito Sanz made a huge save. In the 33rd minute, Frédson de Lara hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 36 minutes into the match, César Soberano dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Benito Sanz, 2-0. In the 45th minute, Abel Carballo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-0 at half-time.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Axel Tasis to make the kick off. Dráuzio Azevedo made an important save on a dangerous shot by Lautaro Puig in the 52nd minute. Hugo Ferrant hit a great freekick 56 minutes into the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Zenaido Obaldia in the 59th minute of play forced Costa Rica's goalkeeper Benito Sanz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 60 minutes into the game, César Soberano cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 3-0. Benito Sanz was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Axel Tasis hit a great freekick 67 minutes into the match. The supporters of Tosta Neto F.C booed when Costa Rica was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 68 match minutes in a wonderful position. Axel Tasis didn't get a good kick on the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Makis Kakaroglou in the 69th minute of play forced Costa Rica's goalkeeper Benito Sanz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Benito Sanz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Makis Kakaroglou in the 72nd minute of play. After 73 played minutes Costa Rica got a freekick which was hit by Alexander Carballo. Bath Rowden took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 74th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Benito Sanz. Costa Rica's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Benito Sanz took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Makis Kakaroglou, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 77 played minutes Costa Rica got a freekick which was hit by Efrain Moruga. After 80 played minutes Costa Rica got a freekick which was hit by Eliseo Noboa. Benito Sanz took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Makis Kakaroglou, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Hugo Ferrant made in the 90th minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Tosta Neto F.C's Wiliam Gaúcho. Efrain Moruga was shown his second yellow card after 93 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. Efrain Moruga hit a great freekick 93 minutes into the match. When the referee ended the match the Tosta Neto F.C players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
