Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 12 minutes had been played when some careless play by Curacao's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Eduardo Herezuelo was slow to take the kick. During this time RomoLerouX UniteD UXX's players had a chance to rest. Charles Cox hit a great freekick 17 minutes into the match. 20 minutes into the match, Mendoza Unceta dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Bruno Barrett, 2-0. Stanley Wallace hit a great freekick 22 minutes into the match. The RomoLerouX UniteD UXX fans' excitement grew in the 25th match minute when RomoLerouX UniteD UXX's Pepito Nobal looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 3-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. 28 minutes into the game, RomoLerouX UniteD UXX's Pepito Nobal nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Bruno Barrett made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 4-0. The supporters of Curacao booed when RomoLerouX UniteD UXX was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 31 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ascencio Astonzas didn't get a good kick on the ball. RomoLerouX UniteD UXX's Venerando Biñuela shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 35th minute of play. The shot was stopped by Bruno Barrett but with some difficulty. A hard shot 37 in the game by Pepito Nobal from a close distance when the talented Bruno Barrett managed to make a qualified save. Curacao's players were relieved. A collision led to Curacao getting a freekick after 38 minutes play. Troy Kennedy hit a great ball. With a little luck, Curacao's Bruno Barrett got control of the ball when Pepito Nobal tried to sneak it across the goal line. 41 minutes into the match, Curacao's goalkeeper Bruno Barrett had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Mendoza Unceta. Pepito Nobal succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 5-0 in the 43rd playminute. Candelario Corte received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Bruno Barrett came out and tried to block the shot, but Candelario Corte slotted it home off the left post making it 6-0 in the 46th minute. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 6-0 at half-time.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Kyle Davies made a kick off. After a defensive mix-up in Curacao's zone, Pepito Nobal stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Bruno Barrett came out of the goal and Pepito Nobal tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 57th minute Pepito Nobal shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Bruno Barrett saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Rocco Owen hit a great freekick 58 minutes into the match. Bruno Barrett didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Pepito Nobal went, in the 61st minute, to the upper right corner, 7-0 was the resulting score. Bruno Barrett showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Mendoza Unceta, who was totally free with the ball in the 67th minute. Harvey Doyle hit a great freekick 69 minutes into the match. 74 minutes into the game, RomoLerouX UniteD UXX's Candelario Corte nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Bruno Barrett made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 8-0. After some fancy dribbling in the 80th minute, Kyle Davies managed to get in a good position for a shot. Curacao's supporters rose to their feet, but Kyle Davies was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Aragón Gili breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Kyle Davies sent away a hard shot on goal in the 84th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 88 played minutes Curacao got a freekick which was hit by Bertie Johnson. In the 89th minute of the match Eduardo Herezuelo sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Bruno Barrett skillfully saved the ball. RomoLerouX UniteD UXX's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
