Umberto Peres was extremely unlucky when he, in the 2nd minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. In the 3rd play minute Marcus Diniz came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Camilo Freixa. 1-0. The crowd rose to their feet as Goiás Esporte Clube's Umberto Peres slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Camilo Freixa. That made the score 2-0 after 7 minutes of play. 10 minutes into the match, Umberto Peres had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Camilo Freixa. Bolivia's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Umberto Peres was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-0. The audience thought a goal was coming when Marcus Diniz got free with Camilo Freixa in the 14th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Goiás Esporte Clube were awarded a corner in the 15th minute after Bolivia's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Valdir Neves took the corner. Dênis Faria made a great header on Goiás Esporte Clube's corner, it was just that Bolivia's Camilo Freixa managed to reach the ball for a save. Goiás Esporte Clube's Oswaldo Figueiredo got a good chance for a goal in the 16th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Umberto Peres received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Camilo Freixa came out and tried to block the shot, but Umberto Peres slotted it home off the left post making it 4-0 in the 18th minute. Camilo Freixa didn't succeed to prevent the ball from going into goal when Goiás Esporte Clube's Marcus Diniz shot an unexpected shot in the crossbar's under edge and made 5-0 in the ordered_time% minute. When the match had gone on for 24 minutes, Marcus Diniz put it in 6-0 from a short distance just to the right of Camilo Freixa. When Joshua Miralles fell near the penalty area in the 26th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Bolivia's protests and gave Joshua Miralles a yellow card for diving instead. In the 26th match minute, Bolivia was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Joshua Miralles to maneuver through the defense. Camilo Freixa made a fantastic save in the 27th minute, when Marcus Diniz sent off a good shot on target. The audience was convinced that Marcus Diniz's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Camilo Freixa was relentless in the 32nd minute of the game. In the 33rdth minute of the game Marcus Diniz who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Bolivia's Camilo Freixa was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. When the match had gone on for 35 minutes, Marcus Diniz took a quick shot and it went in 7-0 without a chance for Camilo Freixa to make any attempt to save it. Camilo Freixa took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Umberto Peres, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 39th minute Mario Fernandino suffered a thigh injury and had to be helped off the field. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Eliézer Barros during the 39th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Bolivia made a substitution. Estefania Mancebo replaced Mario Fernandino. Bolivia's Camilo Freixa tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 8-0 at half-time.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Marcus Diniz stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Marcus Diniz in the 54th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Camilo Freixa saved Bolivia from getting behind. After 58 minutes, Dong Xuan Xi mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Goiás Esporte Clube and the Bolivia players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of Bolivia booed when Goiás Esporte Clube was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 58 match minutes in a wonderful position. Dong Xuan Xi didn't get a good kick on the ball. Marcus Diniz took the ball and in the 64 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Camilo Freixa. Camilo Freixa dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 10-0. In the 68th minute, Marcus Diniz left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Goiás Esporte Clube fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 11-0. Camilo Freixa took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Marcus Diniz, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 82 minutes into the game, Marcus Diniz cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 12-0. Camilo Freixa was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. 13-0 became the score in the 87th minute when Marcus Diniz elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar.
