PARNASOVFC's manager breathed a sigh of relief on the sidelines as his team had managed to escape an almost certain goal. Amancio Blasi made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Felix Montenegro in the 22nd minute of play. Amancio Blasi showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cristian Sancho in the 23rd minute of the match. The audience was convinced that Cristian Sancho's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Amancio Blasi was relentless in the 23rd minute of the game. Julio Vera showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Nemesio Clemencin in the 24th minute of the match. Amancio Blasi took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Felix Montenegro, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The audience thought a goal was coming when Nemesio Clemencin got free with Julio Vera in the 34th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. An unexpectedly hard shot by Agustín Saelices in the 39th minute of play forced PARNASOVFC's goalkeeper Amancio Blasi to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 40th minute Wilfred Rensenbrink shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Julio Vera saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Disappointed in the 0-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Daniel Zorita made a kick off. After 51 played minutes PARNASOVFC got a freekick which was hit by Elias Bernal. 53 minutes into the match, PARNASOVFC's goalkeeper Amancio Blasi had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Daniel Zorita. 56 minutes into the match, Ecuador's goal looked a bit too open when Nemesio Clemencin came free, but Julio Vera reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. PARNASOVFC's Zeledon Calisto got his second yellow card of the match in the 57th minute. The referee ordered Zeledon Calisto off the ground. In the 58th minute, Zeledon Calisto hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Camilo Gisbert hit a great freekick 65 minutes into the match. PARNASOVFC made a substitution. Baldomero Gartzea replaced David Ruisko. PARNASOVFC's Octavio Opilano was substituted for Ulises Argina. After a rather tough play, Ecuador's Camilo Gisbert got a free kick in the 66th minute. 75 minutes into the match, Nemesio Clemencin had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Julio Vera. Ecuador's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Nemesio Clemencin was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-3. Julio Vera stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Nemesio Clemencin's shot from short distance in the 79th minute. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Nemesio Clemencin in the 83rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Julio Vera saved Ecuador from getting behind. The supporters of PARNASOVFC booed when Ecuador was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 90 match minutes in a wonderful position. Daniel Zorita didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 91st minute of the match Efrain Dominguez shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Julio Vera showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball.
