Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Vito Travassos made the kick off which started today's match. In the 5th minute São Paulo F.C. were awarded a corner. Geovani Coutinho went to the cornerflag to take it. The corner led to São Paulo F.C.'s Yaya Sow getting away a dangerous shot that went just outside the goal. When the match clock showed 7 minutes, the score became 1-0 when Vito Travassos sped through Paraguay's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Jacobo Nores. Tiago Godoi showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jaime Pardo in the 11th minute of the match. After having played for 12 minutes, Primitivo Escribano managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Paraguay's supporters crossed their fingers, but Primitivo Escribano was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After a defensive mix-up in Paraguay's zone, Vito Travassos stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Jacobo Nores came out of the goal and Vito Travassos tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. When São Paulo F.C.'s Vito Travassos in the 20th minute got a chance for a shot 20th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Paraguay's goalie prevented a goal. Jacobo Nores stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Vito Travassos's shot from short distance in the 22nd minute. In the 23rd minute, São Paulo F.C.'s Ronaldo Crispín dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 3-0. 26 minutes into the match, Paraguay's goal looked a bit too open when Vito Travassos came free, but Jacobo Nores reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Ronaldo Crispín recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 28th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Jaime Pardo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 30th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Iker Tafalla during the 32nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. São Paulo F.C.'s Dionísio Catarinense was substituted for Vito Travassos. In a very dangerous position, a player in Paraguay fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 32nd minute. Penalty! Dionísio Catarinense scored 5-0 in the 37th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Jacobo Nores, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Jacobo Nores made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Dionísio Catarinense in the 44th minute of play.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Jaime Pardo made a kick off. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Dionísio Catarinense in the 51st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Jacobo Nores saved Paraguay from getting behind. Yaya Sow fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 53rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jacobo Nores having to interfere. When the match had gone on for 57 minutes, Dionísio Catarinense put it in 6-0 from a short distance just to the right of Jacobo Nores. When the match clock showed 60 minutes, the score became 7-0 when Dionísio Catarinense sped through Paraguay's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Jacobo Nores. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Yaya Sow during the 63rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of Paraguay booed when São Paulo F.C. was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 63 match minutes in a wonderful position. Yaya Sow didn't get a good kick on the ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Dionísio Catarinense in the 68th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Jacobo Nores prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Jacobo Nores showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Dionísio Catarinense in the 70th minute of the match. 71 minutes into the game, Alan Campos was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Paraguay's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave São Paulo F.C. the free kick. Dionísio Catarinense sent away a hard shot on goal in the 72nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 80th minute, Dionísio Catarinense made a precise shot to the right of Jacobo Nores. Paraguay's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 8-0. After 85 minutes of play, São Paulo F.C.'s Yaya Sow made it 9-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Jacobo Nores was left in no man's land by his defense there! Ronaldo Crispín struck a weak shot in the 88th minute. Jacobo Nores didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for São Paulo F.C.. Wanderson Melo's late challenge caught a Paraguay's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Wanderson Melo helped the player get up and apologised. In the 93rd minute, Wanderson Melo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. With a little luck, São Paulo F.C.'s Tiago Godoi got control of the ball when Jaime Pardo tried to sneak it across the goal line. São Paulo F.C. were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Paraguay for a fine match.
