Spectators: 41 (Terracing: 32, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Leonardo Magalhães kicked off to start the match. Kaká Lopes showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Edmundo Espiga in the 7th minute of the match. Sebastian Villa received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 12th minute. Kaká Lopes tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 13 minutes into the game, Edmundo Espiga cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-2. Kaká Lopes was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After 17 minutes of play, Jenipapo SC's Leonardo Magalhães made it 1-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Lautaro Navarro was left in no man's land by his defense there! The audience was convinced that Sebastian Villa's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Kaká Lopes was relentless in the 20th minute of the game. Giovani Pinheiro's late challenge caught a Honduras's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Giovani Pinheiro helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to Jenipapo SC getting a freekick after 21 minutes play. Giovani Pinheiro hit a great ball. After a rather tough play, Jenipapo SC's Percy Lopes got a free kick in the 22nd minute. Kaká Lopes showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Sebastian Villa, who was totally free with the ball in the 29th minute. After 35 minutes, Alberto Couto mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Jenipapo SC and the Honduras players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to Jenipapo SC getting a freekick after 37 minutes play. Alberto Couto hit a great ball. The audience was convinced that Sebastian Villa's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Kaká Lopes was relentless in the 39th minute of the game. Edmundo Espiga sent away a hard shot on goal in the 42nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Lauro Bertassi fell near the penalty area in the 43rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Jenipapo SC's protests and gave Lauro Bertassi a yellow card for diving instead. Lauro Bertassi hit a great freekick 43 minutes into the match. Kaká Lopes showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Edmundo Espiga, who was totally free with the ball in the 46th minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when Alberto Couto got free with Lautaro Navarro in the 47th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 1-2.

The wind increased when Edmundo Espiga made the kick off in the second half. Kaká Lopes had great luck who in the 53rdth minute grab hold of the ball when Edmundo Espiga from a short distance tried to put the ball inside the right post. 56 minutes into the game, Edmundo Espiga cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-3. Kaká Lopes was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Rony Dionísio struck a weak shot in the 63rd minute. Lautaro Navarro didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Jenipapo SC. In the 67th minute, Sebastian Villa fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Kaká Lopes, passed just outside the right post. The audience thought a goal was coming when Edmundo Espiga got free with Kaká Lopes in the 73rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Lautaro Navarro came out of the goal in the 76th minute to try and stop a shot by Jenipapo SC's Sebastião Sabóia. But to his dismay, Sebastião Sabóia quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-3. In the 79thth minute of the game Edmundo Espiga who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Jenipapo SC's Kaká Lopes was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 82 minutes into the game, Honduras's Edmundo Espiga nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Kaká Lopes made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-4. Kaká Lopes made a fantastic save in the 86th minute, when Edmundo Espiga sent off a good shot on target. In the 88th minute Honduras were awarded a corner. Edmundo Espiga went to the cornerflag to take it. Honduras's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
