Spectators: 41 (Terracing: 32, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Leonardo Magalhães started the match with the kick off. In the 2nd match minute, Jenipapo SC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Cacá Brodel to maneuver through the defense. Kaká Lopes took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Tomas Berganza, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 13 minutes into the match, Jenipapo SC's goal looked a bit too open when Tomas Berganza came free, but Kaká Lopes reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Abraham Alguacil received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 15th minute. Kaká Lopes tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Kaká Lopes didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Isidoro Sarmiento went, in the 18th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-2 was the resulting score. 25 minutes into the game, Sebastião Sabóia cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-2. Marcos Cotilla was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Isidoro Sarmiento scored 1-3 in the 29th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Kaká Lopes, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Tomas Berganza sent away a hard shot on goal in the 34th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Kaká Lopes showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Tomas Berganza in the 38th minute of the match. Kaká Lopes made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-4. When Tomas Berganza came up free with the goalie in the 43rd minute, the Panama fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Tomas Berganza couldn't finish the play. Isidoro Sarmiento recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 45th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After the first half Panama were leading 1-4. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Tomas Berganza to make the kick off. In the 51st minute Tomas Berganza shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Kaká Lopes saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Abraham Alguacil's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 56thth minute, Kaká Lopes skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Isidoro Sarmiento sent away a hard shot on goal in the 57th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 74th play minute Abraham Alguacil came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Kaká Lopes. 1-6. When Tomas Berganza came up free with the goalie in the 78th minute, the Panama fans jumped to their feet. If Tomas Berganza had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 83rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 84th minute of the match, Tomas Berganza tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Kaká Lopes saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Kaká Lopes was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Tomas Berganza showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-7 in the 87 minute of play. Panama's Isidoro Sarmiento got a good chance for a goal in the 92nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. When the final whistle sounded Panama left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Jenipapo SC.
