With a little luck, Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant got control of the ball when Delfim Araújo tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 8th match minute, ALMA GUERREIRA was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Tao Jian Di to maneuver through the defense. Rigoberto Mina kicked well hit freekick during the 13th minute of the match. After 15 minutes Venezuela's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Wilson da Rocha who took care of the corner kick. 17 minutes into the match, ALMA GUERREIRA's Lasse Delvig sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Jonathan Ferrant narrowly saved just below the crossbar. 23 minutes into the game, one of Venezuela:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. Jonathan Ferrant had in the 24thth minute some difficulties stopping Wilson da Rocha's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. After some careless play in the Venezuela defense, Delfim Araújo kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Jonathan Ferrant. The Venezuela fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Jonathan Ferrant should have stopped the shot. José San Martín received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 29th minute. Jonathan Ferrant tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. A hard shot 31 in the game by Lasse Delvig from a close distance when the talented Jonathan Ferrant managed to make a qualified save. Venezuela's players were relieved. After 35 minutes, Camilo Gaos mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Venezuela and the ALMA GUERREIRA players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to Venezuela getting a freekick after 35 minutes play. Camilo Gaos hit a great ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Lasse Delvig in the 37th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Jonathan Ferrant saved Venezuela from getting behind. Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 40th minute of the match, managed to save Venezuela from getting a goal against them. An unexpectedly hard shot by Lasse Delvig in the 41st minute of play forced Venezuela's goalkeeper Jonathan Ferrant to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The crowd rose to their feet as ALMA GUERREIRA's José San Martín slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Jonathan Ferrant. That made the score 2-0 after 42 minutes of play. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-0.

The wind increased when Lasse Delvig made the kick off in the second half. 51 minutes into the match, José San Martín notched a goal, 3-0, to the right of Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant. Jonathan Ferrant was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. ALMA GUERREIRA's Delfim Araújo got a good chance for a goal in the 54th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The supporters of ALMA GUERREIRA booed when Venezuela was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 60 match minutes in a wonderful position. Patricio Costa didn't get a good kick on the ball. Jonathan Ferrant made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Lasse Delvig in the 72nd minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Delfim Araújo in the 80th minute of play forced Venezuela's goalkeeper Jonathan Ferrant to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 84 minutes into the match, Venezuela's goal looked a bit too open when Delfim Araújo came free, but Jonathan Ferrant reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Lasse Delvig in the 84th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Jonathan Ferrant prevented the ball from getting in the gole. A collision led to ALMA GUERREIRA getting a freekick after 86 minutes play. Wilson da Rocha hit a great ball. The supporters of Venezuela booed when ALMA GUERREIRA was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 93 match minutes in a wonderful position. Wilson da Rocha didn't get a good kick on the ball. Jonathan Ferrant made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Lasse Delvig in the 95th minute of play. ALMA GUERREIRA walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
