Spectators: 41 (Terracing: 32, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. But to his dismay, Vinicio Junior quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. An unexpectedly hard shot by Aníbal Alagoano in the 10th minute of play forced Mexico's goalkeeper Dante Lacasa to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. David Seaman made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Alberto Tafalla in the 15th minute of play. David Seaman showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Alberto Tafalla in the 17th minute of the match. Joel Gaona scored 1-1 in the 19th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of David Seaman, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Dante Lacasa showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Aníbal Alagoano in the 22nd minute of the match. In the 25th minute Aníbal Alagoano shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dante Lacasa saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. David Seaman showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Alberto Tafalla in the 26th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Alberto Tafalla in the 28th minute of play forced Jenipapo SC's goalkeeper David Seaman to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Dante Lacasa showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Aníbal Alagoano, who was totally free with the ball in the 36th minute. In the 37th minute Aníbal Alagoano shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dante Lacasa saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Jenipapo SC's David Seaman played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Alberto Tafalla in the 39th minute of play. Dante Lacasa was out of position in the 40 minute of play, and Vinicio Junior capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Vinicio Junior really showed his touch with that goal: 2-1. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-1.

David Seaman took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Alberto Tafalla, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Jenipapo SC's David Seaman played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Joel Gaona in the 56th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Joel Gaona in the 60th minute of play forced Jenipapo SC's goalkeeper David Seaman to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 60 played minutes Jenipapo SC got a freekick which was hit by Pompiliu Poalelungi. When Lautaro Mancebo came up free with the goalie in the 62nd minute, the Mexico fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Lautaro Mancebo couldn't finish the play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Vinicio Junior in the 63rd minute of play forced Mexico's goalkeeper Dante Lacasa to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 71 minutes had been played when some careless play by Mexico's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Arsenio Gipuzkoa was slow to take the kick. During this time Jenipapo SC's players had a chance to rest. 72 minutes into the match, Mexico's goal looked a bit too open when Raphael Cunha came free, but Dante Lacasa reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Lautaro Mancebo came free with the goalkeeper in the 80th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and David Seaman could save by the left post. David Seaman showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Alberto Tafalla, who was totally free with the ball in the 83rd minute. Through an outstanding action, after 88 minutes, David Seaman successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Jeers came from both ends of the stadium when the final whistle went. Neither team had looked impressive and the draw seeemd a fair result.
