Genko Balevski sent away a hard shot on goal in the 19th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Melquiades Amor took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Tomas Illescas, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Jonathan Ferrant showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Genko Balevski, who was totally free with the ball in the 75th minute. Tomas Illescas sent away a hard shot on goal in the 77th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Tomas Illescas had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 80th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 86th minute, Lúcio Joinvilense hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. A collision led to CDS BUCANEIROS PAULISTA getting a freekick after 89 minutes play. With an all-out effort, Venezuela's Melquiades Amor threw himself towards the right post 94 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Patricio Costa, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. In the 97th minute, Arí Machado hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field.
