Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Brigid Savic kicked off to start the match. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Brigid Savic in the 3rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Dorian de Lima prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In a very dangerous position, a player in Ballintogher fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 6th minute. Penalty! Kléberson Tróia's late challenge caught a Ballintogher's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Kléberson Tróia helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, Renegados's Kléberson Tróia got a free kick in the 13th minute. With a little luck, Renegados's Dorian de Lima got control of the ball when Casey Hughes tried to sneak it across the goal line. 20 minutes into the match, Ballintogher's goal looked a bit too open when Romário Seco came free, but Todd Dempsey reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Rafa Donato hit a great freekick 23 minutes into the match. If Brigid Savic had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 29th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 30th minute, Rafa Donato hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Through an outstanding action, after 34 minutes, Dorian de Lima successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Todd Dempsey stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Romário Seco's shot from short distance in the 36th minute. Renegados's Jaime Trevisan got a good chance for a goal in the 39th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After 40 played minutes Ballintogher got a freekick which was hit by Casey Hughes. Todd Dempsey showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jaime Trevisan, who was totally free with the ball in the 47th minute. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.
Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Romário Seco to make the kick off. With a little luck, Ballintogher's Todd Dempsey got control of the ball when Jaime Trevisan tried to sneak it across the goal line. Casey Hughes charged in rather forcefully in the 53rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Casey Hughes the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 54th minute, Jaime Trevisan ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Todd Dempsey was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-2. After a rather tough play, Ballintogher's Richard Costello got a free kick in the 57th minute. Dorian de Lima took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Henry Dalton, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Todd Dempsey didn't succeed in stopping the ball in the 62nd minute, which inside left pole to 0-3. Dorian de Lima showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Brigid Savic in the 69th minute of the match. Kléberson Tróia could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 70th minute of the match, but Todd Dempsey made a huge save. If Romário Seco had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 71st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The Ballintogher fans' excitement grew in the 73rd match minute when Ballintogher's Henry Dalton looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-3 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. 81 minutes into the match, Ballintogher's goal looked a bit too open when Romário Seco came free, but Todd Dempsey reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a rather tough play, Ballintogher's Bearnad Doyle got a free kick in the 90th minute. With an all-out effort, Renegados's Todd Dempsey threw himself towards the right post 90 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Romário Seco, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. 94 minutes into the match, Ballintogher's Breadan Bayes sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Dorian de Lima narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Brigid Savic sent away a hard shot on goal in the 95th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The Renegados players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
