Anton Dulfu showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jerônimo Mangueira in the 13th minute of the match. Anton Dulfu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Chico Mendonça in the 14th minute of play. In the 15th minute Cătălin Mangra shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Giovanni Pena saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 16th match minute, Júbilo Iwata was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Zé Roberto Velasco to maneuver through the defense. Gheorghe Călin fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 18th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Giovanni Pena having to interfere. The crowd rose to their feet as Jerônimo Mangueira kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Anton Dulfu. That made the score 2-0 in the 20 minute of play. Anton Dulfu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ivan Xabier in the 23rd minute of play. When the match had gone on for 24 minutes, Zé Roberto Velasco took a quick shot and it went in 3-0 without a chance for Anton Dulfu to make any attempt to save it. Zé Roberto Velasco was shown his second yellow card after 28 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. The supporters of Dinamo1948 booed when Júbilo Iwata was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 28 match minutes in a wonderful position. Zé Roberto Velasco didn't get a good kick on the ball. Anton Dulfu was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After having played for 55 minutes, Ivan Xabier managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Júbilo Iwata's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ivan Xabier was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Ivan Xabier in the 58th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Anton Dulfu prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Anton Dulfu didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Jerônimo Mangueira went, in the 61st minute, to the upper right corner, 6-0 was the resulting score. After a defensive mix-up in Dinamo1948's zone, Sandro de Barros stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Anton Dulfu came out of the goal and Sandro de Barros tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Ivan Xabier received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 66th minute. Anton Dulfu tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The supporters of Júbilo Iwata booed when Dinamo1948 was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 67 match minutes in a wonderful position. Narcis Magheran didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 69th match minute, Dinamo1948 was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Iacob Vintilă to maneuver through the defense. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Júbilo Iwata reached it. An unexpectedly hard shot by Mazinho Correia in the 75th minute of play forced Dinamo1948's goalkeeper Anton Dulfu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Dinamo1948's Anton Dulfu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ivan Xabier in the 84th minute of play. When Júbilo Iwata's Jerônimo Mangueira in the 85th minute got a chance for a shot 85th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Júbilo Iwata had played much better football throughout.
