Spectators: 36 (Terracing: 28, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Salah Chebal started the match with the kick off. After a rather tough play, Ballintogher's Bearchan Ryan got a free kick in the 3rd minute. Roseira EC's Mouloud Mansouri couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 4th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Ballintogher. Todd Dempsey showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Salah Chebal in the 7th minute of the match. Roseira EC's Abdelkader Zidane was standing unmarked in front of the goal when he, in the 9th play minute, got the ball and easily drilled it into the goal. In the 26th minute of the match, Salah Chebal tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Todd Dempsey saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. The supporters of Ballintogher booed when Roseira EC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 32 match minutes in a wonderful position. Salah Chebal didn't get a good kick on the ball. 35 minutes into the game, Salah Chebal recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Todd Dempsey. Salah Chebal showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 3-0. In the 39th minute, Salah Chebal made a precise shot to the right of Todd Dempsey. Ballintogher's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 4-0. When Noureddine Belhadj came up free with the goalie in the 42nd minute, the Roseira EC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Noureddine Belhadj couldn't finish the play. The audience was convinced that Salah Chebal's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Todd Dempsey was relentless in the 48th minute of the game. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 4-0.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Bearnad Doyle stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Richard Costello during the 53rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 52 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Ballintogher! In the 54th minute there was a penalty for Roseira EC. Mouloud Mansouri stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Todd Dempsey. 5-0. When the match clock showed 61 minutes, the score became 6-0 when Salah Chebal sped through Ballintogher's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Todd Dempsey. Todd Dempsey stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Salah Chebal's shot from short distance in the 66th minute. In the 67thth minute of the game Salah Chebal who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Ballintogher's Todd Dempsey was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Bearnad Doyle scored 6-1 in the 69th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Rafik Maillot, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Todd Dempsey stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Salah Chebal's shot from short distance in the 72nd minute. In the 75th match minute, Roseira EC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Zīn ud-Dīn Bey to maneuver through the defense. In the 79thth minute of the game Salah Chebal who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Ballintogher's Todd Dempsey was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Salah Chebal took the ball and in the 86 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Todd Dempsey. Todd Dempsey dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 7-1. 92 minutes into the game, Abdelaziz Abdenouz was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Roseira EC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Ballintogher the free kick. Brigid Savic fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 94th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rafik Maillot having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in Ballintogher's zone, Salah Chebal stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Todd Dempsey came out of the goal and Salah Chebal tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Abdelkader Zidane sent away a hard shot on goal in the 97th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.
