After 4 played minutes Cudgee got a freekick which was hit by Lowrey Quinnell. When the match clock showed 5 minutes, the score became 0-1 when Salah Chebal sped through Cudgee's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Alvin Marsland. After 9 played minutes Roseira EC got a freekick which was hit by Abdelkader Zidane. Abdelkader Zidane struck a weak shot in the 14th minute. Alvin Marsland didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Roseira EC. Byrne Gillingwater hit a great freekick 15 minutes into the match. After having played for 19 minutes, Salah Chebal managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Roseira EC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Salah Chebal was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 21st match minute, Cudgee was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Byrne Gillingwater to maneuver through the defense. The audience was convinced that Salah Chebal's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Alvin Marsland was relentless in the 26th minute of the game. In the 27th minute Salah Chebal shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Alvin Marsland saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Alvin Marsland took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Salah Chebal, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 28th minute, Salah Chebal got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Roseira EC:s Rafik Maillot showed great skill when he stopped Conner Wright:s penalty. In the 46th minute, Neville Snabl hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Roseira EC's Mouloud Mansouri got a good chance for a goal in the 47th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The Cudgee players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Roseira EC were winning 0-1.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Lowrey Quinnell stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Noureddine Belhadj fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 63rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Alvin Marsland having to interfere. Salah Chebal received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 67th minute. Alvin Marsland tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Salah Chebal fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 69th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Alvin Marsland having to interfere. Braedan Franklin hit a great freekick 72 minutes into the match. Roseira EC's Noureddine Belhadj got a good chance for a goal in the 74th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Salah Chebal sent away a hard shot on goal in the 76th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The supporters of Cudgee booed when Roseira EC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 81 match minutes in a wonderful position. Salah Chebal didn't get a good kick on the ball. Noureddine Belhadj sent away a hard shot on goal in the 83rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.
