The Cudgee fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. Cudgee's Alvin Marsland proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 9th minute of the match, managed to save Cudgee from getting a goal against them. After a rather tough play, real fortaleza's Osmar Terra got a free kick in the 12th minute. After 15 minutes, Osmar Terra mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the real fortaleza and the Cudgee players grew even worse after the yellow card. real fortaleza's Osmar Neto played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Byrne Gillingwater in the 17th minute of play. After a rather tough play, real fortaleza's Cauan Pitta got a free kick in the 20th minute. 22 minutes into the game, Case Scalzo was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Cudgee's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave real fortaleza the free kick. After 22 played minutes Cudgee got a freekick which was hit by Case Scalzo. Cudgee's Alvin Marsland played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Romeu de Queiroz in the 25th minute of play. When Braedan Franklin fell near the penalty area in the 25th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Cudgee's protests and gave Braedan Franklin a yellow card for diving instead. After some careless play in the real fortaleza defense, Lowrey Quinnell kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Osmar Neto. The real fortaleza fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Osmar Neto should have stopped the shot. After 36 minutes, Conner Wright mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Cudgee and the real fortaleza players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 36th match minute, Cudgee was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Conner Wright to maneuver through the defense. After having played for 37 minutes, Romeu de Queiroz managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. real fortaleza's supporters crossed their fingers, but Romeu de Queiroz was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 42 minutes into the match, Lowrey Quinnell notched a goal, 0-3, to the right of real fortaleza's Osmar Neto. Osmar Neto was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. real fortaleza's Osmar Neto played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Lowrey Quinnell in the 46th minute of play. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-3 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.
The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Lowrey Quinnell stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Osmar Neto showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Lowrey Quinnell in the 52nd minute of the match. 54 minutes into the game, Cudgee's Case Scalzo nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Osmar Neto made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-4. After 60 played minutes real fortaleza got a freekick which was hit by Cauan Pitta. Romeu de Queiroz's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Alvin Marsland read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 65th minute of play. Osmar Neto made a fantastic save in the 72nd minute, when Ian Sedgman sent off a good shot on target. Romeu de Queiroz took the ball and in the 75 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Alvin Marsland. Alvin Marsland dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-4. In the 81st minute Braedan Franklin shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Osmar Neto saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 84 minutes of play, real fortaleza's Romeu de Queiroz made it 2-4 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Alvin Marsland was left in no man's land by his defense there! Cauan Pitta fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 86th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Alvin Marsland having to interfere. Osmar Neto took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Byrne Gillingwater, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 92nd minute of the match, Ian Sedgman got a very nice opportunity to score, but Osmar Neto was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. Cudgee's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
