Spectators: 45 (Terracing: 35, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Daniel Zorita took the kick off in the first half of the match. Sporting Clube Patrício's Ademar Azevedo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Daniel Zorita in the 3rd minute of play. When Ecuador's Daniel Zorita in the 4th minute got a chance for a shot 4th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Sporting Clube Patrício's goalie prevented a goal. In the 10th minute, Tomás Portugal reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Julio Vera. The goal made the score 1-0. Daniel Zorita might have been able to make a better finish in the 12th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Ademar Azevedo. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Daniel Zorita ran back to his position shaking his head. Daniel Zorita's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Ademar Azevedo read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 13th minute of play. Julio Vera showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Tomás Portugal, who was totally free with the ball in the 14th minute. In the 17th minute, Juan Sebastián Puig hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 18 minutes into the match, Ecuador's goal looked a bit too open when Tomás Portugal came free, but Julio Vera reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 18th minute, Tomás Portugal left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Sporting Clube Patrício fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-0. Ademar Azevedo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Daniel Zorita in the 20th minute of the match. 21 minutes into the game, Mauro Alcântara was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Sporting Clube Patrício's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Ecuador the free kick. A collision led to Sporting Clube Patrício getting a freekick after 22 minutes play. Mauro Alcântara hit a great ball. The supporters of Sporting Clube Patrício booed when Ecuador was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 27 match minutes in a wonderful position. Felix Montenegro didn't get a good kick on the ball. 31 minutes into the match, Ecuador's goal looked a bit too open when Zarco Lameiras came free, but Julio Vera reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Ecuador's Julio Vera played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Zarco Lameiras in the 32nd minute of play. Ademar Azevedo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Felix Montenegro in the 37th minute of the match. In the last second Julio Vera throw himself and got hold of the ball when Tomás Portugal in the 40thth minute from his position got away a shot towards the right post. After 41 minutes Ecuador's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Zeferino Cardoso who took care of the corner kick. Zeferino Cardoso made a great header on Sporting Clube Patrício's corner, it was just that Ecuador's Julio Vera managed to reach the ball for a save. Julio Vera made a fantastic save in the 43rd minute, when Tomás Portugal sent off a good shot on target. In the 47th match minute, Ecuador was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Juan Sebastián Puig to maneuver through the defense. Juan Sebastián Puig kicked well hit freekick during the 49th minute of the match. Ecuador's Julio Vera proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 50th minute of the match, managed to save Ecuador from getting a goal against them. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Tomás Portugal to make the kick off. Julio Vera made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tomás Portugal in the 55th minute of play. Daniel Zorita could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 57th minute of the match, but Ademar Azevedo made a huge save. Tomás Portugal sent away a hard shot on goal in the 60th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Julio Vera didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Tomás Portugal went, in the 62nd minute, to the upper right corner, 3-0 was the resulting score. In the 65th minute, Teodoro Onofre hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Cristian Sancho fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 68th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ademar Azevedo having to interfere. The supporters of Sporting Clube Patrício booed when Ecuador was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 74 match minutes in a wonderful position. Juan Sebastián Puig didn't get a good kick on the ball. Tomás Portugal hit a great freekick 77 minutes into the match. Daniel Zorita made a great header on Ecuador's corner, it was just that Sporting Clube Patrício's Ademar Azevedo managed to reach the ball for a save. In the 81st minute of the match, Cristian Sancho tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Ademar Azevedo saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Julio Vera made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tomás Portugal in the 85th minute of play. After some careless play in the Sporting Clube Patrício defense, Cristian Sancho kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Ademar Azevedo. The Sporting Clube Patrício fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Ademar Azevedo should have stopped the shot. Juan Sebastián Puig hit a great freekick 92 minutes into the match. After 95 played minutes Ecuador got a freekick which was hit by Juan Sebastián Puig. After recieving a nice pass, Sporting Clube Patrício's Zeferino Cardoso tried to score from far away in the 95th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tomás Portugal in the 98th minute of play forced Ecuador's goalkeeper Julio Vera to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.
