Spectators: 44 (Terracing: 34, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Cacá Čačak made the kick off which started today's match. In the 4th minute, Cacá Čačak got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 6 minutes in the game, Hélio Donatello fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Benito Sanz having to interfere. 8 minutes into the game, Cacá Čačak cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-0. Benito Sanz was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Eric Gary made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Axel Tasis in the 13th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cacá Čačak in the 16th minute of play forced Costa Rica's goalkeeper Benito Sanz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 23 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Costa Rica! The referee gave Jagiellonia Denver a penalty, 25 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Ricardo Gareca, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Costa Rica's Benito Sanz. 2-0. Benito Sanz made a fantastic save in the 29th minute, when Hélio Donatello sent off a good shot on target. In the 33rd minute, Eliseo Noboa left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Costa Rica fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-1. Cacá Čačak might have been able to make a better finish in the 40th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Benito Sanz. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Cacá Čačak ran back to his position shaking his head. Benito Sanz showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cacá Čačak in the 43rd minute of the match. The crowd rose to their feet as Jagiellonia Denver's Cacá Čačak slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Benito Sanz. That made the score 4-1 after 45 minutes of play. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 4-1 at half-time.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Axel Tasis to strike the kick off in the second half. Benito Sanz showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Hélio Donatello in the 54th minute of the match. After some careless play in the Costa Rica defense, Cacá Čačak kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Benito Sanz. The Costa Rica fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Benito Sanz should have stopped the shot. After 58 minutes of play, Jagiellonia Denver's Michal Majdoch made it 6-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Benito Sanz was left in no man's land by his defense there! 61 minutes into the match, Hélio Donatello had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Benito Sanz. Costa Rica's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Hélio Donatello was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 7-1. Lautaro Puig could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 64th minute of the match, but Eric Gary made a huge save. In the 66thth minute of the game Cacá Čačak who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Costa Rica's Benito Sanz was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. When Cacá Čačak got free in front of the goal in the 66th minute he wasn't very focused and chipped the ball just over the goal. Benito Sanz was delighted since he was out of position and the ball would have got in if it had gone under the crossbar. Eliseo Noboa received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 69th minute. Eric Gary tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in Jagiellonia Denver's zone, Lautaro Puig stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Eric Gary came out of the goal and Lautaro Puig tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Jagiellonia Denver's Nicolae Costa got a good chance for a goal in the 73rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 79 minutes into the game, Michal Majdoch cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 8-1. Benito Sanz was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. 83 minutes into the match, Costa Rica's goal looked a bit too open when Cacá Čačak came free, but Benito Sanz reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Cacá Čačak had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 89th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Cacá Čačak's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Benito Sanz read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 89th minute of play. If Hélio Donatello had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 91st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Jagiellonia Denver made a substitution. 林邦瑜 replaced Ricardo Gareca. When the referee ended the match the Jagiellonia Denver players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
