In the 25th minute, Ramiz Karaeski fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Marcos Cotilla, passed just outside the right post. In the 27th minute, Abraham Alguacil left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Panama fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-2. 沈亮邦 came out of the goal in the 33rd minute to try and stop a shot by Panama's Tomas Berganza. But to his dismay, Tomas Berganza quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-3. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Tomas Berganza couldn't finish the play. Marcos Cotilla didn't succeed in stopping the ball in the 38th minute, which inside left pole to 2-3. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tomas Berganza in the 41st minute of play forced 『挑战者』輝煌16人￠明月何时照我还≮FCB≯'s goalkeeper 沈亮邦 to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 2-4 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Tomas Berganza made a kick off. In the 54th match minute, Panama was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Alex Cambeiro to maneuver through the defense. Panama's Isidoro Sarmiento got a good chance for a goal in the 92nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 94th minute, 毛明旭 hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When the final whistle sounded Panama left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than 『挑战者』輝煌16人￠明月何时照我还≮FCB≯.
