Marco Day made a fantastic save in the 23rd minute, when Zayvion Ispuzua sent off a good shot on target. An unexpectedly hard shot by Monty Rogers in the 29th minute of play forced Barcelona de América's goalkeeper Tenorio Reiriz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Through an outstanding action, after 31 minutes, Marco Day successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. A collision led to Barcelona de América getting a freekick after 34 minutes play. Pedro Velasco hit a great ball. Diego Bradley kicked well hit freekick during the 42nd minute of the match. In the 44th minute Monty Rogers shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tenorio Reiriz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.
