With an all-out effort, Mexico's Valer Nuțu threw himself towards the right post 84 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Joel Gaona, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. When the final whistle sounded Mexico left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Phoenix Baia-Mare -MM-.
