In the 46th match minute, Mexico was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Macos Graciani to maneuver through the defense.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Gabriel Vinhas made a kick off. Relyn Futebol Clube's Gino Velasco proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 51st minute of the match, managed to save Relyn Futebol Clube from getting a goal against them. The crowd rose to their feet as Mexico's Alberto Tafalla slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Gino Velasco. That made the score 2-3 after 77 minutes of play. A collision led to Relyn Futebol Clube getting a freekick after 81 minutes play. Walter Samuel hit a great ball. Relyn Futebol Clube's attentive Qu Jun Fan managed to snatch the ball when Luca Rouco made a throw-in in the 85th minute of the game. The Mexico supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Mexico would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
