Atletico de la Rosa CF's Marcell Yashin played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Monty Rogers in the 24th minute of play. Monty Rogers struck a weak shot in the 27th minute. Marcell Yashin didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for USA. The corner led Atletico de la Rosa CF's Artur Pikk to fire away a dangerous shot which Marco Day despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Marcell Yashin took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jacob May, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Monty Rogers in the 57th minute of play forced Atletico de la Rosa CF's goalkeeper Marcell Yashin to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Marco Day made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Zeca Gadda in the 62nd minute of play. Zeca Gadda sent away a hard shot on goal in the 64th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Marco Day stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Zeca Gadda's shot from short distance in the 64th minute.
