Thanks to some nice moves Placido Benet could shoot a difficult shot in the 11th minute, which Bruno Barrett however easily saved by the left post. A collision led to Gunners getting a freekick after 12 minutes play. Placido Benet hit a great ball. In the 15th minute Kyle Davies shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Aurelio Gagriel saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a rather tough play, Gunners's Delmar Eneas got a free kick in the 20th minute. In the last second Bruno Barrett throw himself and got hold of the ball when Erasmo Flor in the 36thth minute from his position got away a shot towards the right post. Bruno Barrett showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Erasmo Flor, who was totally free with the ball in the 38th minute. Placido Benet kicked well hit freekick during the 40th minute of the match. Gunners's Aurelio Gagriel played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Rocco Owen in the 43rd minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Kyle Davies in the 48th minute of play forced Gunners's goalkeeper Aurelio Gagriel to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.

After 51 played minutes Gunners got a freekick which was hit by Aristides Lander. In the 53rd match minute, Gunners was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jeronimo Etor to maneuver through the defense. Kyle Davies could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 54th minute of the match, but Aurelio Gagriel made a huge save. Aurelio Gagriel was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Kyle Davies showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 0-1 in the 61 minute of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Placido Benet in the 73rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Bruno Barrett saved Curacao from getting behind. Bruno Barrett made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Placido Benet in the 90th minute of play. The supporters of Gunners booed when Curacao was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 90 match minutes in a wonderful position. Rocco Owen didn't get a good kick on the ball. Curacao's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
